The old packaging for the Laura Mercier powder was silver. I think instead of it being fake, I think they just gave you a potentially expired one, or just a year old powder. So if that makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure that was just their old packaging.

Stila has 2 different liquid eyeshadows. The real one you bought was a glitter and glow but the fake was copying their shimmer and glow! I have a bunch of both and the shimmer and glow is much more subtle and yes, it does have rose gold packaging.

I once bought a shape tape concealer for 22$ off a buy and sell used stuff app, and the lady sent me a fake and I told her it was fake and she tried lying to me, and I never got a refund😒 I should’ve just bought the real one off a legit website. And I know it was fake because it was such cheap plastic, the wand was sooo wrong, and the “concealer” was a white milk.

If you ever do these again (and I don’t suggest it), i recommend buying a barrier cream to use as a primer. 3M Cavilon Barrier Cream (not the ointment!) tis great, non irritating, and available on Amazon for about $7. I use it as a primer when my skin is really irritated.

Jordie Madison Is it good for sensitive skin? My skin gets really red and slightly irritated when I apply makeup and I need to get something to use underneath. My primers don’t help too much.
