here is the real connection. Soul sand is trapped souls in sand, maybe for the wither. Skulk spreads to new blocks when things die on it because the soul of that mob is trapped somewhere. When skulk grows/spreads it will make other skulk related blocks & with the help of player made sounds can summon the warden. Meaning u can legit no mods get the warden to spawn from one block of skulk.

The living tree is also a creepypasta btw after 4 players were casually playing some Minecraft together until they spotted a tree. They thought this tree was unusual due to it being a different type of tree kind that all the other trees. The next day, they decided to go mine for some diamonds but when they got back home, they realised the tree moved a bit and ALSO was slightly growing. A few days passed by and the 4 players were coimg back home from the cave they were in. The tree moved and this time, also left some footsteps. The players ran as fast as a blink of an eye away from that tree however the tree was chasing them and the players couldnt make and died to the tree. Like this comment if u think this is creepy.

What were those arrows in the inventory? Those are the arrows that only appear there when your game had a mod, interesting… Also, when Preston disconnected, it proved he was in a server, which means, other players can join! Also, the clone is not in sync with Preston, the clone does it slightly after and because he was in a server, someone could’ve been that clone doing was Preston did, but since he can’t predict Preston’s every move, he does it slightly after him. When Preston was scrolling down the search menu, I saw some mysterious spawn eggs and blocks at the very bottom, this PROVES he was playing modded!

Fun Fact: Mega Warden was going to exist but the plans for one got destroyed when the city was taken over the sowdes are actually the pepole that are left the reson that they are so afried of the wardens is because they made them and sacrificed them to make the spirst happy so the warden is blind because they had their eyes removed before they were sacrificed that's why the deep dark is called what it is

My theory about the soul sand: a player named “warden314” was playing Minecraft before the deep dark was added, he went in the nether but the thing is his seed was cursed, when he stepped on soul sand he got absorbed. One day a piglin stepped on the soul sand releasing souls, which one of them were warden314 and hid inside blocks growing into the warden. Then Minecraft found out and added him and his own structure.
