Im a barista at starbucks and it looks like your cloud machiatos were made wrong. There should have been almost all cold foam and a sippy lid. So when you drink it, it layers espresso and cold foam. When made properly the foam makes the drink pretty sweat and creamy. :)

I used to work there (well at a Canadian one while in university) and figured they did it wrong. I'm unsure if training is different. We'd actually create new ideas and send them to head office. It was a nice job and drunk/stressed students tip well. I'm going to try the Snickers one.

Micah Carnell yes I’m a barista as well and there is actually no plain milk in the iced clouds. They are made with all foam ice and espresso. So I’m almost positive they were made wrong😂

@@ErinRobinson yea. i totally get that.. but id love it if ud do an update.. like the foam is suppoused to be whipped so the shots sink to the bottom, and that foam is also sweetened with either the cinamon lemon, or vanilla (like a regular carmel machiato)..

I used to order the green tea frappe off the secret menu - that was delish. I actually found a local place here that makes them too :). I think my fave drinks at Starbucks (out of what ive had) is the pumpkin cheesecake frappe, the dragon drink, the pineapple matcha thingy (2020), the green tea frappe, and the irish cream cold brew

My favorite lately has been the iced blonde cappuccino with cold foam, whole milk and pumps of sugar free vanilla. The blonde roast isn't super strong so I dont need to add much sweetener and the cold foam is just awesome as it mixes in.

My go to drink that you guys tried is a Raspberry white chocolate mocha or red velvet and it's not really on the menu. My Starbucks friend made it for me once and I've been having them ever since. You just have to ask them to add the syrup to it. I agree it should definitely be on the menu though because it's sooo good!

I used to be a Starbucks partner and it was always fun creating beverages. My favorite creation wasn’t a beverage but a food item, a warm donut and added cinnamon dolce on top. It tastes like a churro but better cause it’s a donut. If I had to pick a favorite frappino it would be the oatmeal one: syrup creme base with cinnamon dolce +oatmeal packet+the fruit packet, you would have to purchase the classic oatmeal included it in the beverage there are mix nuts in there that you could decide to include or not. I would order in the evening or a slow late afternoon. If it’s busy they might not make it and say that they cannot do it. As for the drinks you tried: The cinnamon roll and red velvet are actually on the menu due to the high popularity. Some baristas just don’t know where it’s located on the screen. The clouds macchiatos should be drank with the no straw lids because the you get a layer of the cloud & the macchiato in each sip.

I can’t remember the exact name of the button but it was with all the other frappincos and said more speciality drinks or something of the sorts. It’s like a hidden button most baristas don’t get trained about. Then again I left the company mid August 2018 so it could have changed.

I work at Starbucks and i recommend ordering the caramel cloud macchiato upside down with soy milk and 1-2 pumps of vanilla in the cup :) I'm not big on soy milk but it's amazing with this drink I had 5 people try it this way and all 5 loved it! :)

Y’all should try a Java Chip frappe with hazelnut and extra mocha drizzle. My friend and I get this all the time but I usually don’t get whip and she gets her whip blended in. Depending on my mood or day I like to add a shot or 2 depending on the size😂

I had a caramel cloud macchiato and the foam went down halfway during my 5 min walk with it before i tried it, and there is not much coffe in it considering lots of it is foam and ice cubes, so I finished it in like 5 sips, it tasted okay but not worth like 6 $ for a grande

I’m a barista at Starbucks and the cloud macchiatos we’re definitely made wrong. The milk is actually foamed up with the cloud powder which makes the whole drink basically foam. Then the shots are poured on top but usually sink to the bottom bc of how dense the drink is. They shouldn’t mix with the milk, and it’s usually topped with a nitro lid. Also, the ice usually sinks to the bottom. I’d try them again from a different location bc those were not even close to correct.
