Thank you for this video. You are alwasy so elegant whatever you wear. This time you really inspired me to try to wear highheeled booties with leatherleggings. I always paired them with sneakers, but thanks to you I can now wear them at the office too, since sneakers ain´t suitable at work. Forty years ago I had leather pants custom made in India. I've saved them under the bed all these years and can now get them out and wear them again. It's been a struggle, but they still fit!!!

Only real cowhide leather jeans would have survived for 40 years. LOL When I wore mine for country walks, brambles, nettles and even climbing the odd barbed wire fence never damaged them, as well as embers from barbecues and camp fires. On countless occasions at crowded parties, cigarettes have brushed against them and when embers dropped onto the leather, I rubbed them out, rather than brush them onto the settee.. A friend of ours bought synthetic leather pants and the first tine that she wore them at a party they ended up with a cigarette hole melted through them, probably because when you are wearing jeans or leather people are less careful with cigarettes than when you are wearing a dress. My boyfriend also wears leather jeans, so that he does not need to change when he uses his bike. Did your leather pants survive rough wear, or did you only wear then for social occasion.? (Jane)

After so long in a dry atmosphere the leather may have dried out causing them to crack when you wear them again. I would suggest a coat of Neatsfoot oil, or a good leather balm before you start wearing them again, Treat them a few days prior to wearing them to allow the dressing to penetrate well into the leather, but do not overdo it, or they will end up oily. After my previous comment, I am sure that you will feel safer when you are with smokers, of around a bonfire. LOL

Loved how thoroughly you went through each pair and seriously, you've got killer legs! 👌☺️ I was really struggling to find a pair that would flatter my legs (I'm pear-shaped so the shine can't be too shiny otherwise they make my legs look wider). When I finally did I find a pair, they made a really weird squeaking noise when I walked (from my thighs rubbing together). Do you have that noisy problem too, or were all the ones you tried on noise-free? 🎶😅

Heidi Corcoran hey lovely, I think I would recommend the mango ones over the oasis, I just think they are slightly more flattering but it depends how you plan on styling them as obviously the oasis ones have the zip at the front which is a bonus if you want to tuck tops in etc. Both are really nice xx
