Thanks for reaching out. I am enjoying the machine. One thing that would be helpful would be to include

To include settings inside the machine like most welders. I know they are available on your web site, but it would be convenient on the machine

I've got the basic Chicago electric Flux core from harbor freight, but I'm considering this setup for body work and causal jobs. Think it's worth it?
@DaddyJeepGarage Жыл бұрын
@@AilEyed a flux core machine like this is a great place to start. It will handle body work once you get the settings and technique down. Find some scrap to practice on.

Its a great welder that can be use with an gas inverter generator and it works on 15 amps 120v for up to 1/8” metal, if you’re doing anything above that, you need to slow down and give it some time to keep it from getting to hot which is the worst thing you can do to your welder -overheating and melting electronics, capacitors, resistors and anything that is not happy with excessive duty cycle

One more quest on the Arccaptian 130, they don't really explain anything about the drive wheel, how do you choose placement of drive wheel meaning if you are using .030 do you place that cut out on the bottom side? Hope to have mine Thursday. Thanks

Think Wire feed is slow, maybe wire tension is a bit loose

O have their prroducts. I was yhinking bout picking one of that to carry around. I've welding comercially over 70 years. I would chuck that. I bet it won't tig.Pull flux.core. Dandahermit. It sounds like one of the early old technology machines. It does at least a 60/13. What size rid was that?😮

I have never weleded before but have a project that I need to weld chromoly to mild steel and was wondering if this machine would be worth buying for that procces? I was interested cause its really cheap on amazon and I would like to use it as a mig welder
@DaddyJeepGarage Жыл бұрын
I am not familiar with welding Chromoly, but I can say that this a very simple to use machine. It would be great for a beginner.

Another channel takes off the cone so he can see the puddle. Worked perfectly.
@DaddyJeepGarage Жыл бұрын
Interesting. I wonder what that does to the weld. The cone keeps the gasses from the flux core around the weld longer.
@rogertaylor8615 Жыл бұрын
You have to keep the wire pretty close with the mig welder or flux core wire
@rogertaylor8615 Жыл бұрын
@@DaddyJeepGarageflux core you don't have to have the cone on since the gas is inside the wire

im working on a jon boat could it weld it?
@DaddyJeepGarage Жыл бұрын
No. The Mig130 will not weld aluminum. Of course I'm assuming your Jon boat is aluminum like mine. The Mig200 will weld aluminum with argon as a shielding gas.

How do you get companies to send you stuff to review?
@DaddyJeepGarage10 ай бұрын
I wish I knew. I would love to get more stuff to check out. I think that if you review products other companies will see that and send you offers if you fit their needs. You may need to purchase items to review to get that going. This is just a theory though.

Can it weld aluminum
@DaddyJeepGarage Жыл бұрын
I don't believe you can flux core weld aluminum. Welding aluminum requires shielding gas so you would have to step up to a MIG 200 for that.
@magnusthetall9 ай бұрын
You can buy the TIG lead and use that to weld aluminum.
