I did real good on Beast mode and the new DT IR 2 will work for beast mode and a 2 for DT I was on 2 infested with iron I won’t ever need another MD for the rest of my life time that’s how impressive the 114 actually works

The Deep Target feature alone was worth the 1.14 release. Beast Mode i just personally don't see me using it. That is not to say I will not attempt it but the places I hunt are really full of junk. I'm more interested in separation. LG24 coil is good for that. There are better options out there if you can get your hands on them. Like the Nel Coils for the Legend. Just better made coils, but difficult to come by. You must at this point in time order directly from Nel. 14-21 day delivery window and comes straight from Ukraine. I'd hate to get a coil and it be kept by customs.That would truly suck.

I do believe you are the ONLY one who understands the purpose of the beast mode. It would be interesting to see how recovery speed affects the unmasking as well.

When in field or park and you want to separate the iron try cranking up recovery speed set iron filter to about 3 stability 4 or 5 and you will be surprised how it will separate .....

Get one of your buddies that has the D2 and knows how to use it to go back out into that field. Should be able to find some more squeakers.

Steve, Your results mirror those of my buddies. You are just more diplomatic. This mode doesn't do much do any of us. DTR is excellent but Beast Mode isn't very impressive this far and frankly I don't know when I would ever use it.

Put your iron bias on 5 and you should get the coin in park mode also try 6 and 4 on the iron bias. You shouldn't need BE for that test.

Hey Gigmaster, Beast mode just sounds like it should be a super deep mode? Did they say what it’s supposed to do? Being based off goldfield it should be deep

If you were doing that on your driveway, it most likely has wire mesh in it, I dont know if that would matter on this test
