Great video..👍 love the night riding .. so Beautiful..also, Thanks for the AT81 product review, I've been waiting for that.🤙.. When are we gonna Blow Up! that bike?

I blew up the KTM instead. There was an overwhelming shout of no to blowing up the YZ since I smoked the KTM

For once a trail ride I sat all the way through. That terrain looks amazing! Came here researching this tire. Stayed for the ride. What lights were you using? Not that I ride my beta 300 at night at all. They worked well. I’m still running the stock candlestick. In Pennsylvania some of us drop down to New Jersey for enduro events which are Sandy fire cuts and single track. People seem to like this tire there too as much as in PA coal county rocks and roots.

I run a baja designs squadron XL on the bike and a MotoMinded Torch helmet light. I like the AT81 EX but have since found the VeeMoto Force AT and I like it better and it’s less money. They make 2 compounds. A normal and the Apex. The Apex is the sticky one and it’s incredible. A lot of people back east are using it. Check it out in this vid VeeMoto Apex Tire/ Kehin 36mm Carb Real World Test and Tune! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJvEhauXiK6BfKM

I'm running the AT81 EX on my 300 this season. Great traction, I found it to be a better all around tire than the Ibex I have on my 430. A lot more stable at higher speeds while running lower air pressure. Don't get that roll over feeling that the Ibex has. Seems to wear better too. Next up I'll be trying the IRC VE33s Gekkota
@highlandcycles4 жыл бұрын
Nice! The ibex wore out too fast for me (65miles) I really like the ix09w gekkota too

You try the IRC VE33S then? I'm thinking of trying the at81ex. I love the VE33S but they develope base knobby cracks right away

Great vid Morgan, keep em coming. Have you ran the Bridgestone M59 before? Do you recommend it?

I have. I love the tire. It’s the best front tire I’ve run.

Love it! Have a BD XL80 on order for the 450fx, hope it’s here soon. Will try to come out to visit/ride when that suspension jockey gets in town!

Why does my yz250 not need a fan to run cool, yet everyone that has a ktm or European bike have fans and they still boil over when we ride the same exact terrain? How does the yz stay so cool comparatively?
@highlandcycles4 жыл бұрын
Because they are the best! Are your friends all on 2 strokes?

@@chadrides914 just asking because 4T bikes get way hotter. As far as the difference between the YZ and euro 2T it’s probably because the YZ is just cooler

I just can't go though a tire every couple of rides... I need to have some longevity in my shoes, I'll stick with the Tusk Recon Hybrid.... It has grip on everything, lasts a long time and at $65, its a value that's hard to beat.
@highlandcycles4 жыл бұрын
That is a great tire. Dunlop had a blow out on these which is why I bought it. It cost me $60 instead of over $100

That ex will hook up like the new girl at a party. Even when it shreds knows it still grabs. The norm at 81 is great for dirt mud and sand. Nothing else. I use the norm 81 for south jersey. It lasts on the road sections.
@highlandcycles4 жыл бұрын
I never hated the normal one. I can’t stand the front
