Almost 50% coefficient on a spell with no cd and 30/36 range?? Does that not make them busted in pvp? That's like 170% spell dmg from gear on a frozen target, 340% on a crit?

yeah been grinding r14-- my lances went from critting 900ish to upwards of 1700-1800. Coupled with a insta spellfrost bolt, get off 4k+ damage quick and just delete people not ready for it

Out of curiosity, if you went for a hybrid frost/Arcane build, taking Arcane blast, as well as the 2 set bonus from the T 2.5 Arcane set which increases the Arcane damage bonus from Arcane Blast by an additional 10%, could you do competitive DPS? I’m thinking you’d spam Spellfrost bolt as filler to fish for a fingers of frost proc. When you get one, you spam however many Arcane Blasts you can afford, then you spellfrost bolt for up to 100% increased damage. When you combine the Spell Power rune on your boots, the ZG set trinket, and the Ice Shards talent, you’re critting for 4.5x as much damage. That also gets doubled by your Arcane Blast. This has to be at least semi viable, right?

Blizzard rank 1, with 1 point chill effects is broken then Ice orb and rota can not wait to get double 65% frostbolt^^ on shoulder entchant hope it stacks^^

Can someone explain why is he using spellfrost rune instead of the frostfire?

Hes having 5 pieces of the zandalar. Gives 65% spellfrost bolt dmg :)

I’d assume 1-Orb to apply 5 stacks + frostfire bolt 2-Deep freeze/ice lance with the orb finger of frost 3-Proc all cd trinket/icy veins/cold snap 4-Orb again 5-deep freeze and ice lance on fof 6-Frostfire bolt and ice lance when fof proc and deep freeze if not on cd Something like that i Guess Haven’t done all the maths yet but that what seems the most intuitive to me
