I'm so glad to hear an expert say they don't like Tarte Shape Tape. Everyone was raving a few years ago, so I bought some and absolutely hated it! A few years later they came out with the ultra creamy version so I tried that. I still hated it. I'm 58 with very dry skin so I totally agree with Marlena, it is NOT for dry skin. Thanks for this video, it was so fun!

I’m highly allergic to some preservatives especially Kathon or Methylchloroisothiazolinone which is in a lot of makeup, shampoos, laundry detergent etc… I break out in hives pretty bad! Thankfully Sephora does a good job listing ingredients and having cleaner products! Great video ladies 👏

Hi Gabi! This is long, sry. I just wanted to tell you how much I love & appreciate your tutorials geared toward mature skin. I am 59 and was not practicing very good self care. Treating myself better is my main goal for 2024. I started out with a good skin care routine for am and pm but I was struggling to ececute a makeup look that I was happy with. Fast forward a couple of months and I found you. I went to Sephora to get matched for the Estée Lauder Doublewear and the It CC. Also a concealer in Estée Lauder. Between your tutorials, getting a correct skin match and buying the correct products, I can honestly say I am happy with the way I look these days! Thank you so very much!❤

The only product i've used from this list is the Tarte shape tape, and speaking as an "oily girl" it doesn't look great on me either. If it was just the oil it may not be as much of a problem, but combine that with texture, dark circles and puffiness, the shape tape goes on like painter's spackle, grabbing onto everything in it's path and stays there like concrete! Besides that, i loved watching this video. It was fun to watch! And i think that the shine on Marlena's face can be seen from space. I would chuck that one in the bin!

Oh my gosh we were so excited! We left for the content house last week on Sunday and we filmed until Wednesday so the episodes aren't out yet because no one has had time to edit. The only reason I got this out is because I edited for 3 1/2 hours on the plane and then 1 1/2 hours on the taxi ride back to my house from the airport. LOL. Great video! I happen to LOVE the Kosas foundation. I have combination/oily skin and have to powder it. But for me, it does dry down and looks beautiful. People will compliment it every time I wear it. No breakouts yet, but I did make sure to find one with an expiration date a year out.

I have to add just another byMario product to the list: the Master Crystal Reflector (quartz). It masters the art of being versatile for no possible purpose , cannot be applied decently with any technique but leaves a wild Rohrschach pattern of uneven glitter when swatched. I now use it to support a wobbly candle stand. 🕯️😄
