Testing the Lucas Oil Offshore Race Boat at OPA National Championships

Last October I was invited by the Lucas Oil Offshore Racing Team to attend the P1 Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA) national championship offshore races in Fort Meyer’s, Florida. In this video, I spend the day following Nigel Hook, Jay Johnson and the rest of the Lucas Oil Racing crew while they test and prepare their race boat - the #77 Lucas Oil SilverHook 48GP. There is a lot that happens before the race to get these monsters ready for battle, and it was awesome to see first hand at what it takes to be ready for race day.
