This is my point of view: I get super excited for new tech in soccer clothing. However, I believe Nike releases anything to take advantage of people that pay for those items and that’s the reason they release them so expensive. I truly refuse to pay those prices because I don’t want to support nike keeping this trend of insane msrp values. I hope Nike will understand that it is not correct. I truly hope they reconsider making quality soccer clothing with more accessible prices

I have the short sleeved one and the quarter zip and they are phenomenal. I really sweat a lot and they are supper breathable and stretchy so they give a much better experience during training. My opinion, these are just the summer version of the aeroswifts, as they are almost two times as thin as aeroswifts. I would definitely recommend these if you have the money. I got both of them on sale though. the quarter zip for half the price and the short sleeves for 0.7 the price through the nike online store.

yeah. they are much thinner than the earlier aeroswift and are crafted very well. i do recommend them if you want to spend the money on probably the most comfortable shorts out there right now. do note that they are not the most breathable. those would be the adizero, but they feel thin and less comfortable. breathability wise: vaporknit 8 adizero 10, comfortability wise: vaporknit 10 adizero 7-7.5

Wizard Hunter josh said that the shorts aren’t worth it so idk. I have aeroswift shorts from 2017 and the ones from 2018 too. The 2018s are thicker and less breathable than 2017. Can u compare them to aeroswift?

oh i thought you were talking about the short sleeved training jerseys, my bad. about the shorts, they are thinner, but i do not recommend them. i value pockets a lot for shorts since i can sometimes use them casually and put my phone in it. vaporknit shorts are thinner, but i think they are not as well crafted as the aeroswift ones. i'd rather buy the older ones for a discount or some other shorts with pockets.

I always go to nike cleanrence store and these vaporknit usually dropped huge price. For example, the vaporshort and vaporshirt are both 20 which I believe they are acceptable. So I think no one would purchase them for the original price.

Whatever the cheapest shirt and shorts you can buy would be the best value. I think compression shorts and good quality socks are extremely important, but everything else as far as apparel is concerned, doesn't really make too much of a difference. As long as what you're wearing isn't restrictive or uncomfortable, you should be fine.

It's all about what you can justify. $70 shorts is expensive no matter how you look at it. $200 for cleats that you'll use every time you play that will have significant impact on your comfort, your feel and overall experience is a much bigger deal.

70dll shorts will provide minimal impact in your game compared to the 25dll shorts. Good quality cleats will not only last longer but also provide competitive advantage, specially in difficult weather. Weight, surface and materials will truly change performance in a competitive setting. At the end of the day though, nothing will impact more than real training.
