I have 4c 4b Afro-american natural hair! Opposite texture than your silky wavy hair. I also have both the Revlon and the Calista shown here. Love the Calista hands down over the Revlon. That smaller brush actually straightens my hair. The round brush styles my hair. Calista has ionic technology that minimizes frizz. I go from big Afro to straight look in about 30 minutes. Use the cold hot to increase shine

Julissa! First off. I love you. Where were you when I was in high school and college feeling so insecure about my frizzy hair that I didn’t know how to manage? My 3 Boricua sisters want to adopt you. Thank you. May you succeed and thrive in all your ventures. I have a request. I travel frequently- what one step dryer do I use overseas? I was in Paris and had no way to dry my hair so I spent 2 days looking for a place to blow out ethnic hair. It cost around $150 in our money but it was still worth it to me- although I can do better at home. Now I try to travel less than a week overseas because of my hair. Can you help me? Hy Julissa you look beautiful like always. I think you should compare this tool to the Revlon. It does looks nice but I will want to see the diffrence between the one and the Revlon. Great video as always keep up the good job God bless you always

It's doing a great job making your hair smooth and shiny. I have the Revlon one, which I love, and I don't know how it compares with this one with the noise level. I have a sister who is deaf so I may be a little bit more cautious about loud noises next to my ears but the Revlon one is loud! So I bought some little cheap oh earplugs from Walmart and they do the trick. Now I can enjoy using my hair tool and not worry about it damaging my hearing. The federal government doesn't regulate a lot of products used by women which is really crappy. Especially cosmetic products. Just FYI.

I bought one of these Calista StyleDryers and it worked really well but it is *very, very loud*. I ended up returning it because of how loud it was because I think having that decibel level so close to my ears is unsafe.

I have the one I bought from amazon (a revlon knockoff) for under $25 and it is fantastic. I have curly hair that goes down to my buttcrack, and it's been a life saver. No more sitting down and straightening my hair for 2 hours. I blow dry it straight in half an hour max.

Hi Julissa! Thanks for the great videos! I would love to see what temperature the tools you use are at for the kind of results you are getting. I saw a video once comparing Dry Bar and Revlon (just using a kitchen thermometer) and the Revlon got way hotter, so maybe it does more damage for similar results? I would love to see how the heat compares in your reviews!
