Greetings from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 Keep up your good work brothers. Unfortunately, money is the driving factor in these "ministries" that need to keep up their lifestyles and relevance in the charismatic community. The charismatic/pentecostal community truly needs the voice of this podcast for this generation so hopefully same errors aren't repeated over and over again. Keep shining the light and exposing the errors and unbiblical practices that don't bring glory to the cause of Christ and His Church. Blessings, Andrew.

I have been around the prophetic movement for over 40 years, including an association with Christian International years ago. Here is my two cents. 1. The prophetic movement has become uber distorted from where it began. 2. The vast (and I mean vast) majority of prophecy falls under the auspices of 1 Cor 14:3, edification, exhortation, and comfort and it is to be judged by the congregation 1 Cor 14:29. 3. Who appointed these so-called apostolic elders? 4. Who made Cindy Jacobs a “general of intercession”? 5. As for Emma Stark, I’ve never heard such word salad before. Great discussion and you both made great points. Finally, probably the best book I’ve ever read on prophecy is “The Gift of Prophecy” by Wayne Grudem. It should be required reading for any charismatic Christian.

Thank you for this video! Numbers 8:24 - 26 says that the Levites should serve 25 years and then go home to their land. I wonder if this was followed by leadership today that some of this scandalous activity, especially in the regards to the prophetic might be averted. I am in my late 70s and try to listen to the younger leaders who are coming up. They are the 'new wine skin' and its time for them to begin to take their place as leaders. I can see this happening these days with many young men on social media especially. I think we are in good hands with these young men, including Remnant Radio.

Thank you for this podcast. We been part of charismatic churches longer than y’all have been alive! It's refreshing to hear charismatics speaking of God's sovereignty. I was also encouraged to hear ya'll say at the end in your closing thoughts that we should call out false prophets if they don't repent for getting it wrong. It's clear that celebrity Christianity is being judged and in my opinion, this is all part of the house of God being cleansed and judged (John 2 & 1 Peter 4), Christ being Son over over His own house, whose house we are if hold fast to the end (Hebrews 3). We have departed from the living God and made Him into our own image. All the false teaching of being "little gods" is bearing bad fruit. It's past time to return to a fear of the Lord, sound doctrine and theology found in Scripture. It’s frightening to think we would have the audacity to say something that God has not spoken, and still somehow parade ourselves as a true prophet. Those two are not synonymous from Scripture in my mind. You are right to point out false prophecies that the ACPE has made. I would encourage you all to listen to seasoned ministers like Dr. Mark Chironna, whose wisdom I trust in these troubling days. Lord, have mercy.

I appreciate your analysis of the ACPE. And I agree, prophecy should be the domain of the local church. Will the “prophetic elders” shut down their ministries and return to the local church? I doubt it. Will the KZbin prophets shut down their channels and return to the local church? Nope. But here is a problem that contributes to the sustainability of these “ministries” - it is rare to find a healthy prophetic presence in a local church.

I agree with you concerning the elders. Age has nothing to do, with if a wine skin is old or new. Years ago Cindy Jacob’s had wonderful words of exhortation. I have never agreed with their declaration of authority over the prophetic ministry. As they have suggested all prophecies should be brought before them prior to being released. Let the prophets speak by two or three and let the others judge, try the Spirit etc. How can the local bodies function if the prophets must first submit a word to Jacob’s tribe? What I have noted in 42 years of church life is, when a prophet ministers there is a brokenness, and a weeping and repentance. Perhaps had true prophetic anointings been functioning in the church all along, we wouldn’t be overwhelmed with the abhorrent level of sin in the church. Perhaps some of the words of change in society and stadiums full of the lost coming to Jesus, would be happening now. You know Joshua and Caleb were an older generation that led the next into the promised land.

A great way I’ve learnt in interpreting prophesy is: ‘Revelation’, (what was; seen, heard, experienced). ‘Interpretation’, (if symbolic, what does it mean) ‘Application’, (what needs to be done with it?) I believe too it’s seen in Jeremiah 1:11 amongst others (maybe my take, with the ‘Application’ inferred). It shows why it’s so necessary for the Holy Spirit to speak at each step, and more often, more error creeps in the further from the ‘revelation’ you get. Revelation being:- what was said & experienced. (This is the level of ‘where did *the spiritual experience originate from*. Is it from the Holy Spirit, from the person own self (this could be imagined, but also could be from the ‘overflow of what they have stored up in their heart’), or from the enemy?). Interpretation (obviously only needed if it passes the ‘revelation step’): What does the revelation mean? (And this is only something God knows and explains.) Application: What needs to be done with the word? (Again this is something God shares, not what we think best) The reason this is important is that the Holy Spirit needs to be the one speaking at each step, and I wonder if in Both Emma’s (very symbolic word - *she states this*) and Cindy’s i35 words, (if from God) might have been mis-interpreted/misunderstood or misapplied (possibly because of presumption or just ‘running off’ on their own)?
@lecolintube9 күн бұрын
In Jeremiah 1:11 God shows Jeremiah an ‘almond branch’ and asks him what he sees? In the ensuing conversation, God then describes what this means: The ‘almond branch’ is in fact a play on words, (in Hebrew) and sounds exactly the same as, ‘watch over to make it happen’. So the revelation is a symbolic picture of an ‘almond branch’ (it’s not literal - it has nothing to do with trees, or almonds or nuts), the interpretation (or meaning of this picture) is ‘God doesn’t give up on a what he’s sharing or asking Jeremiah to say, but ‘watches over’ (labours on it) to ensure/make sure it happens. (And my understanding of the Application is, Jeremiah can be at rest and walk in peace knowing that God will do what he says (even if it’s not instantly, takes time, or there is a gap in when something is shared/spoken and if happening). It will coming to pass. Something that is foundational & really important for Jeremiah to understand for the rest of his life! (And no wonder it’s the first ‘word’ he gets after being commissioned. (He doesn’t need to be anxious if something doesn’t happen right away, God’s got it & it’ll happen). Also, I would add, there is no way to get from ‘picture of an almond branch’ to ‘be at peace & rest/don’t be anxious if things don’t happen straight away’, without staying in the conversation with the Holy Spirit). *The reason this is so important is, in weighing a word, each step needs to be weighed and tested.

These “prophecies” only matter to certain charismatic circles. I’ve gone to spirit filled churches for decades that never mentioned them or their prophecies. Yet the prophetic had place in the local church. Wouldn’t it stand to reason that if our Lord had something vital to say to HIS people, it would not be contingent on subscribing to the right podcast or attending a distant conference?

Reminds me of when “wrestling” had a different world champion in every market. So many “prophets” with so many different prophecies and doctrinal positions. Can’t God get the same unified message thru all off of them? If we ever say “God told me …” that’s one thing. If we ever say “God is telling me to tell you…” that is especially serious. It’s a weighty thing.

17:14 How is an omnipotent omniscient being capable of "changing his mind"? I'm not asking if the Bible says he does, I'm asking how this is remotely conducive to the claimed attributes of God. He knows everything that will happen in the future and was the one who put everything into motion. It's not possible to change your mind on something you already knew would happen. That's patently contradictory.

Excellent points regarding some prophesies in the Bible being harsh and that prophesies need to evince that what you prophesy comes true. I have been given loads of visions from the Holy Spirit regarding America and Trump and military and so far, they have come true (some still yet to come true). The track record of the Holy Spirit being spot on is amazing. As for Cindy and Emma, I no longer listen to their words per intel from the Holy Spirit. I am in a place where I pretty much get my own revelation. In my opinion, my experience AND most importantly the Word of God, the idea of needing to interrogate the demonized to find out “where curses come from” or the roots of a demon etc., are greatly exaggerated and possibly what the Bible refers to as “doctrines of demons”. So many charismatic(ish) leaders have become so uber-independent, with theology and methodology that is desperate for branding as if it were a clothing brand. Too much mixing, too much world.

I asked the Lord where He wanted me to go in 2021. He sent me to a small fellowship in a neighboring town. I was instructed to give them a word shortly after joining. I knew nothing about the matter and was simply giving the word I felt the Lord had given me. It had to do with cleaning up a situation that happened several years before. The following Sunday the pastor said he knew God had sent me to “rock the boat “. My response was that He was going to capsize it! The word was given privately to the pastor and has been ignored. Over the last three years I have seen others give similar, confirming words to the church and those are brushed aside as well. The church has a reputation of being a revolving door. So sad. It was definitely a call to repentance and they have not. I’m currently not attending because they began backbiting and attacking me for not backing down to their religiosity.

You guys are all wrong, Cindy, Emma, and Radio Host. Seperate a gift of encouragement from the Office of a Prophet. None of these people demonstrate the "wise master builder" of a Prophet, building Christ virtue inside people. They all are using gifts of encouragement and OVERSOLD it. Encouragement can NEVER imcrease virtue inside people, a Prophet can do that, but we have none visible. Iv met 2 in 30 years. Cindy and Emma are ruining peoples appetite for encouragement and trampling on the wise master builder office of Apostle and Prophet. This is why And Griffith only gave Barney 1 bullet. True Prophecy is a Person, His virtue, not words. Divine nature not parabolic encouragement. Gomer Pyle never became a NCO because he lacked something internally.

I was thinking about this myself. Having not heard the entirety of Cindy's prophecy, I wonder if she gave timelines, and if so, what were they? If not, is it possible she was correct and the time hasn't yet arrived? I'd need to dig deeper.

I feel the same way. Sticking to the Word we have many examples of Gods prophets delivering His Word wayyyy before it ever manifested in the natural. We also have some prophets who delivered a Word from God that was manifested in their lifetime. In my personal struggle with this I seem to be led back to discernment, inquiring of the Lord for confirmation, lining with the Biblical Word unless a prophet attaches a date or time frame to their prophetic utterance and it clearly does not come to pass 😋

I wouldnt knownwho these people are and what they are saying if it wasn't for Remnant radio. I dont think these 'national prophets' have the reach they think they do.

True. They only matter in certain charismatic circles. I went to spirit filled churches for decades that never mentioned them or their prophecies. Wouldn’t it stand to reason that if our Lord had something vital to say to HIS people, it would not be contingent on subscribing to the right podcast or attending a distant conference?

@mls-jp9nb It's probably why the examples of New Testament prophecy fit into a local context not national

Agreed. Some aren't aware of how small their bubble is. They need some cross-pollination.

Some things I disagree with you about concerning prophecy is that you want the word fulfilled immediately. When in the Bible the Virgin who will give birth was at least 1,000 years old, Daniel was praying over a word that was 70 years old, and the current late prophet Kim Clement, his word 10 years later, is just now coming true.

It is getting to the point where I don't listen to any of these so-called prophets. I did not bare witness with Emma, and I don't bare witness with the NAR prophets either. Johnathan Cahn is the only one I give any heed to these days, and he is not usually making predictive prophesies in the same manner as these prophets today. Over and over these words have fallen to the ground and produced nothing but confusion. Confusion is not of God.

I never heard Emma’s Alaska word and don’t intend to, but as I was listening to you guys I wondered if the ACPE peeps are upset because it was about America. They are mostly nationalist and more importantly, so are many of their donors. Btw, I’m not taking up for Emma. I listened to some of her messages years ago and could barely understand a word. Not her accent but her content. She’s the female Chuck Pierce.

Acountablity is nessasary in all areas of gifting testing biblically using both decernment and using God written word is critical to root out hypocrisy bias, favouritism over in and, out side confusion deception misleading the body of Christ bringing at times another gosple or messaging not spoken by Christ, the Holy Spirit or scripturally.

Y’all are over thinking the curse idea. They aren’t saying she’s cursing him but that her putting that idea in the air could inspire someone to “fulfill” the word of their own volition.
@WhimsyF-sr1ns3 күн бұрын
I heard several in the ACPE say they met, prayed together, and then worked together in prayer and broke the curse. I heard that on at least two different video, social media sources of ACPE members. One individual from the ACPE says that if the prophecies concerning DJT do come to pass, that the council would then be shown to be ineffective in breaking the curse-- this woman claimed that Emma Stark would not be shown to be accurate but rather one who sends out curses that found a landing strip. I was astonished by this.

@@WhimsyF-sr1ns, can you share the name of the person who said if Emma's prophecy comes to pass, it would mean she caused the curse? I'd like to watch that video. Thank you!

The NAR movement is openly christian nationalist so their being triggered by this "prophetic word" makes sense.

I mean, I’m not the biggest fan of the prophetic counsel. I haven’t seen it be biblical yet, but of course I haven’t looked at it enough to fully form my opinion but prn hub as of July 1 2024, has been blocked in many states and a couple of thoes states are along that line. Asbury did break out with a couple other college campuses’. Pastors have been getting removed from positions because of sexual sin. And abortion law changed in some states and it’s a law that prn hub is banned in some states. So I mean it didn’t happen within the year, if this was a year word, but to give credit where credit is do, not being a supporter of them myself, God possibly could have spoke that and that prayer movement could have definitely done something 🤷🏼♀️ Now I could be judging the word wrong, cuz these could have been naturally occurring events, but having certian sites be illegal to go on is certainly something
