Fun to see Jed on the channel! Man, that bike is insanely light. Question, what's all that green stuff in the video? We don't have that here in Arizona. Mr. Stanton on a stanton riding through stanton moor. So meta.

Great video 👍 I grew up in Stanton and recognise those trails very well, they were my bread and butter back in the day, amazing place, I did get told off by the ranger a few times though 😬 Now I live in Tansley which is another great place for riding. Keep up the good work👍

Ay up Dan, you won’t remember me but I can remember speaking to you when you were Still working at Samways in Derby about 2010 ish, when I was just getting into mountain biking. I remember you telling me that you were leaving to start up your own company and I’ve followed your progress ever since. Fantastic what you’ve accomplished mate, building up what is now a globally recognised brand, outstanding achievement 👏🏽👏🏽

5’9 to 5’10 that’s me! Can’t wait to get mine 🎉 the trails look like great fun! I’m always a fan of ‘bigger’ components tyres etc over something a bit too light weight. Going to have to bring my Sherpa for plane trip to the Lake District. 120mm fork? Is that the sweet spot for your trails and the US?

Now the question, are the single speed dropouts going to still happen? 😁 Also I was trying to find the contact info on your new website, but all it shows is the join the newsletter.

Yep, I did an update post about them on the Owners group. 😁👍 contact@Stantonbikes.com. You can get hold of me there, I generally answer within 48 hours. 😁👍

Dan, I saw your ride video with Steve from Hardtail Party. Brilliant. I bought his Sherpa Ti + and the frame is beautiful. I can't wait to build it up. My question is how should I buy the headset in order to fit a tapered fork for that bike? Both top and bottom IDs of the head tube are the same but the fork's steer tube is 1.125" top and 1.5" bottom. Thanks.

You need a (zero stack)ZS44 top cup and an (external cup) EC44 bottom cup. The one in our components section on the website will fit spot on 😎👍

Hi Dan, some information, I need an exploration bike, which allows to spend many hours/days in the saddle and to ride many climbs and technical trail. Do you recommend a 4gen ti Sherpa? I'm 185 cm , size 19? I would like it to be as comfortable as possible.

Can't find a way to contact you on the website or find this info on frame page........... So a few of questions here about Sherpa ti+ bikepacking frame. 1. Are sliding dropouts availaible for the Sherpa ti+ ? (I've read/heard they are coming) 2. What width is the BB, 73mm BSA ? 3. What is the max front chainring size it can run? Thinking of building one with a Rohloff IGH, so above questions are pertinent to this build. Thanks

Contact@stantonbikes.com is the email. 😁👍 The SS dropouts are in progress. They were ready to go for UK production but cost is too high for customers, so I’m taking production to Asia. 2 BB is a BSA 73mm shell 3 max CR is 36 on a 52 Chain line Thank you! If you want to drop me an email over any other questions, I’m on there every day 😁👍

For all those who operate in proper money, the Sherpa Ti weighs in at 24.25 lbs. Very good weight that! Has anyone ever done a weight weenie build on one Dan?
@StantonBikesUK Жыл бұрын
I reckon I could get another Kg+ off that with Carbon post, carbon stem and bar and some XTR brakes and a lighter saddle… but personally I think that’s bordering on impractical. I can still rattle this around most trails, although a little cautiously when it gets proper rough. 😎👍

Sherpa or Switch9er ..I ride in central PA- which looks a lot like Wales or the smaller mnts in Scotland, it is a lot of fire roads up to rocky ridge tops then rutty rooty downhills, ,mts between 1- 220ft lots of softer single trak as well What about a 140mm fork on sherpa?
@StantonBikesUK10 ай бұрын
130 max on the Sherpa! 😁👍 if I’m going Wales 🏴 I’d ride my Switch9er with a 140mm fork 🍴 hope that helps 👊😁
