The ITA-TUR submarine rescue drills were very interesting. I appreciate when you throw in non-aviation items, even though that's why I'm here. Frankly, I've seen most of the aviation stuff at one time or another, but I do love watching it, and experiencing it (though several layers removed; but what is reality, anyways ;)

so the helmet is only for the F-35? You show a lot of other planes and it's really unclear if those pilots in those other planes are using or will start using this helmet. This helmet seems like a really good idea in all Air Force planes.

@bp9682 жыл бұрын
Because its "fused" with the rest of the avionics thats unlikely. It would require some significant refitting to older aircraft and considering what they are charging for the F15EX model your better off just buying/making more F35s (the f35 is *cheaper* then the upgraded F15ex now. Its actually cheaper than most of its 4+ gen competitors now!).
@storehouseads5934 Жыл бұрын
All of the aircraft would have to have the censors and camera systems to allow you to "see" through the plane. The helmet isn't actually doing it, just relaying signals
@chrissybabe85682 жыл бұрын
If you are withdrawing (10.05) presumably under fire then you wouldn't want to line your vehicles up in a single area like shown here. Wouldn't take a lot to clobber a lot of transport with a single rocket.
