One hint for using the stick and also forward movement. I also use this bindings since I began playing rocket league. On my Xbox One Controller I can use the forward movement In an window of 120 degrees. After that the input only see the turning right or left movement without forward movement. So holding hard right will not move my car right.

I’m 33 and I think I’m the only person that grew up with the N64 that used the remote the way Musty first held it. Everyone thought I was weird for that but it felt better especially for Mario Kart. I tried it the second way but it always felt so awkward for me. Probably because my OCD preferred the symmetry of holding it by the outside handles 😂
