Entertaining vid Tomley. I thought the bashing you did here was quite reasonable and maybe more representative of what the bulk of owners would do with one of these.......unless I have it completely wrong and everyone just hits skate parks these days. It looks to me like this truck is a tad fragile in places, perhaps a V2 in a couple years will sort it.

I would say thats a bit lame for a extreme basher but a broken arm is a 'nice' thing to break, cheap and easy to fix. Better than bending the chassis!

A bent chassis where it was bashed would take a major effort, even for an Arrma. I actually was surprised it broke an arm. It was a good crash but not savage by any means 🤔

I want to say you probably cracked the arm in a combination of the many bad landings and cartwheels then the last jump just took it out the rest. I think any care wouls break under those conditions. Its a beast though, i do think the wheelie bar may need a redesign or modification like thicker bracing or mounting i should say, and wheel should come in about 1/2 an inch i think it works like a lawndart currently

I enjoyed your review and evaluation. The landing that broke the arm would damage many monster trucks but it was on dirt that's softer than the skate park landing areas.

Seems decent. Since going to the Outcast 8s, I don't think I'll be going for anything smaller. I'm not one for backflips and all that. Bigger air...yes, but not stunts. At some point I'll get another large scale. I won't be getting a Traxxas though. I don't care if the Xmaxx is the best RC...it's still Traxxas

Great vid, see more plastic parts breaking this time of the year and that's probably as hard as I have seen you bash anything on that grass 😛. A 15t seems a good sweet spot on gearing from all the US vids I have seen. It's not really a stunt truck out the box it needs some bigger tyres that will balloon up more to help with rotation in the air.

Never been a fan of corally as always seem to break pretty easy but it did take some abuse from your bad driving haha can you turn up the punch on the esc might back flip better if you can does seem pretty decent though shame about the look of it not keen on the body but could always change it for a bug body

I find when my bashers are nosediving I stiffen the front shocks and make the back as soft as they can go and it stops nosediving

I'm laughing at people still buying a granite or big rock for $369 then spending 120 on proline aluminum shocks and new cvds. Then they still have a truck with garbage electronics and a very plastic machine. You could not get this and be 100% of ahead of the game. Don't get me wrong, I love my granite, but at $369 arrma are smoking crack. Don't get me started on the overpriced vortex. Common sense, not so common. And b4 someone says, "yeah but he broke an a arm". Ehh... all rc cars break at some point. Corally does need to look at their plastics is all and soften them. They're too stuck in the race world where stiff parts are king for handling purposes. They don't quite understand the basher world 100%. Give them some more time and they'll be killing it.

Imho, there is a pattern I've followed that hasn't failed me mostly when looking for rc purchases and replacements; the more frequent they are showcased by a large number of youtubers within a reasonable short time span, the more likely they are to be a hugely overpriced lemon. I do not even need to put rc model and make to make this point even clearer

🤣 It does seem that way. I've had a few breaks on my Corally Kronos but no more than the X Maxx or the Kraton have. My Granite holds up pretty good though, I suppose that's more to do with it being a smaller lighter car though.

There should be more transparency e.g. RC companies should just demand their cars back after review - afterall the views these videos get should be payment enough - and they should know which channels have the critical mass of viewers

To make back the cost of the truck would be around 200k views… and then add the hrs it takes to film and edit.. add another 50-100k or so of views. This video at the most will get about 20-30k views which would work out at about $100. Your theory is wrong, if this was a normal day job, I’d be working at a loss if I had to send the product back 👍 It’s up to you to decide if you think the reviewer is being transparent and honest. For me a basher should do easy backflips and not be heavy as a rock. But a lot of people will just run it around on an open grass field it will be OK for that. I like to spend more air time than on ground 😄

Big thanks. 👍 From what I've seen this drives like a 1/8 buggy with bigger wheels. The MT10 is lighter and a backflip beast. I'll keep to my Rival at this stage. It makes sense it's not a back flip machine because of its longer wheel base. Usually means more stability but less stunts. It seems to be a cartwheel machine like my kraton though.
