This is actually why I became a new subscriber. She is talking realistically about how much these products cost and how they preform regardless of that. Crazy that you did a dupe video in this format. Just the other day I had told someone how much I enjoy dupe videos but the one thing I wish creators would add to them is a full day wear test. Let's face it. Most of us put our makeup on and we need it to go through 4-8 hrs of wear (if not more) plus we need to see someone living their life in it. Hope you continue to do them like this. Just one observation regarding the lipsticks. On my screen the drugstore one (sorry, can't remember the brand 🤦‍♀️) looked like it had a sheen to it which made it look lighter in color. Whereas the Dior? It doesn't look matte but flat if that makes sense. To me they didn't look alike. With that said I would still buy the drugstore brand. There's just no way I'd pay $40+ for a single lipstick, lol. Great video Taylor. Wishing you and yours a great/safe weekend ahead... 💜

The Lottie London skin tint is the most underrated complexion product ever! Glad you reviewed it. If you live in hot humid weather or want a more matte complexion which is also sheer try this!

Yes! I wish more people would do wear tests for dupes. I don’t want to buy something thinking it’s a dupe if it ultimately performs poorly compared to the high end product. Thanks for doing this!

Screw high end products. Hair the time you're just paying for a name. You just have money to spend lol the prices that they charge on high end make up should be criminal because they are literally robbing people. I bought a lipstick at the drugstore for 10 and a high-end lipstick for 40. They were EXACTLY the same from color to formula. Couldn't even tell the difference except one you can brag to everyone that this is (insert fancy brand name here) to make it look like that you have money. If you think something performs poorly because it's not high end, you're brainwashed by the make up industry and don't know why you're on this channel

When opening loose powders; leave on the plastic sticker that’s under the lid and use a pin to poke 3-4 holes, it will be significantly less messy

Love this format for a video. I will be honest I absolutely love my Dior foundations. I have the Forever matte and the Capture serum foundation, but the fragrance is so strong. I love the performance of the foundation but hate the scent!

I've been hearing so much about that Flower Beauty bronzer for what seems like years now. It looked really good on you, too. I'd rather have a product I have to apply twice to see it than something I have to wipe off or use a separate brush to blend b/c it was too pigmented. Excellent way to do a dupe video - with a wear test! Excellent!!!

I've used both CT and FitMe! I prefer FitMe. It stays matte longer, and stays on longer than CT. The blurring/smoothing is the same or better, especially when pressed over pore areas instead of dusted. The blurring effect of CT fades quickly for me. They're similar under the eyes too. I just prefer a finer, more lightweight powder to these types, so I use LM Undereye Powder.

@@tamizilla update: I actually used CT under one eye and FitMe under the other today since it has been a while. I used FM 220 and CT Medium. The CT side has slightly more color/tint and looks drier than the FitMe side. FitMe has less "coverage", but looks nicer. I used the same small dome brush I always use for that area. As far as LM, I have used up a few of the pressed translucent and several loose powders over the years. I prefer pressed for convenience, and I like to press powder on with a puff which is easier with pressed powder. They are comparable, so it's up to preference if you want to have both. I like that FitMe has skin shades, and I prefer the tinted ones to the translucent. In the case I wanted the actual translucent shade, I would go with LM myself, or a lighter shade of FM that would translate to translucent once applied. Hope this helps!
