Here's a challenge: Someone once suggested to me Gunpla (Gundam model kit) supplies for Warhammer 40k stuff. Specifically, they suggested instead of shading, of using Tamaya Panel Line Accent Colors, which are a form of enamel based inks that come in the same glass jars that their excellent plastic cement comes in, complete with a tiny brush. They're meant to go into the grooves of military model kits and gunpla, accentuating the grooves while not otherwise affecting the color of the models at all. They suggested that using say, Black, in the recesses and grooves of Space Marine armor, or Grey in brighter colors, or Brown in golds, and avoiding using shades such as nuln oil entirely, would look significantly better, as it wouldn't affect your paint job like a shade can, leaving say, metallics as extremely bright. I guess the way you use them is you tap the brush gently near the recessed areas and edges, the enamel paint flows like mad into it using capillary action, and then if needed you use a q-tip with some solvent (IPA I guess?) to wipe off any excess. Would love to see someone more talented than I give that a go.

Hey Byron! My recommendation for some technical/how to videos would be something Blood Bowl related. Small model count, creating fun, vibrant team uniforms, tying in a cohesive themes while giving each model a unique feel. More interesting basing ideas beyond static grass with white lines. Could also do some of your dry brushing tutorials for some of the stadia, scoreboard huts that are available. Personally I'm also not experienced with many of the water transfers you get for the players (numbers, team badges etc) so tips on how best to use those would be great. Keep up the positive, friendly energy on the channel.

I'd like a video on quickly painting an army. Especially practical bits like keeping your paint on the dry pallet moist. I find it hard to maintain the dry brush and sponge effectively if I paint for longer than ~20(?) minutes. Have started putting my colours on a wet pallet if a long session. How do you 'go back' if you realise you missed a step on some models (or like, missed a leg on one model). That sort of thing. How do you also pick the colour scheme and the basing approach? And how do you make sure you can replicate what you've done for new additions in the future?

Selfish review/tutorial recommendation: cracked earth basing, specifically for making large cracks. I'm planning to base my Skaven from Skaventide with big glowing green cracks as though the ground is about to tear itself apart with warpstone energy, but having trouble getting good/consistent results. The typical GW products seem to be thinner and give smaller cracks, I've tried following Trovarion's method using Golden Crackle Paste, and Midwinter Minis' method using corn starch, and a combination of the two, and have had some decent results, but equally many failures, even from base to base using the same method - it feels very random. So yeah, would really appreciate some help figuring out the secret!

Trovarions grimdark is actually grimdark as its still very readable from a distance but grim and dark. Not saying you can't use these or shouldn't, they look great but use them in a way that wont destroy the mini
