For real butter, in my country (Belgium) it comes in thick aluminum type packaging (doesn't rip), and when we get it, we very lightly carve the top of it into 50 gram "chunks", just carve a small line every half inch or so on top of the stick or 500gram "chunk" of butter. It saves on time and you can eye what you need very easily.

My kitchen saving tip about garlic. I dont like touching garlic since my hands will smell for day. Just take the garlic clover with skin and put it in the garlic press. It will peel the skin and it will stays in the press. Just take a knife and take it out.

In furture tests please do not stop at 'if it worked' but also how much effort does it require to clean it without a dishwasher. Some of these items looked as if they were realy hard to keep clean. This would make a more complete review, since if something works a little better, but to clean it it is 10x more effort, taking apart, etc, then I prefer the less efficient but in summary more time efficient method :) Please have Shaun back for next editions :)
