My kids are in high school and they can have their phones. They are also given chrome books that they keep for all their work. Not much is done on paper for them anymore. Pretty much everything is submitted online. In fact, no more snow days here. If it's inclement weather, they make it an "online" day at home.

Covid changed school forever! My son graduated last year and Freshman year they couldn’t have their phones and now they can and everything is online with their chrome books! Glad the high school years are done! He is actually doing his gen Ed’s for college online. He liked it better and his grades were better with online work.

My sons high school actually just started a new...rule? Or they implemented new guidelines this year...they can no longer have their cell phones on their person. Has to be in locker or book bag. Same with the chrome books tho..everything is done on them...no lugging home books from every subject. Also, same for snow days...virtual learning days they call them ;/

Hey Kelly! Sharpay Evans fan here 🙋🏼‍♀️ I am a high school math teacher in SC. Our kids are not allowed to have cell phones, but this is rare nowadays. Most kids are allowed to have cell phones out in surrounding districts. Our kids are provided with a school issued chrome book that has restrictions on it. We keep ours in the classrooms and only allow them for instructional purposes. Love your videos- keep up the good work!

we are given chromebooks from the school for work in high school. We are also allowed to use our phones, just not during class. However, when I was in middle school, we couldn’t use our phones at all in our county.

Troy was my favorite but I did love Sharpay since I do have her personality. I'm so going pick up this collection. I'm waiting for the eyeshadow palette to go on sale but I'm still using Elf's bite size eyeshadows which are my favorite for all year around. The HSM collection brings me back to my middle school years which was when the High School Musical sagas came out. I will purchase it and plus for oily and acne prone skin matte foundations are the number one to make it a full coverage makeup look. I haven't tried the Milani Cosmetics Anti Gravity Mascara but I am in love with the Milani Color Fetish Nudes Collection in Secret. I layer that with a nude lip liner and it looks so pretty combined.

I’ve taught juniors the past 5 years and this year I teach freshman English. The kids are SO addicted to their phones but the older students are definitely more severe. The freshman, so far, aren’t as bad but definitely still want to have it out most of the time. Each student has their own Chromebook that they rent from the school.

I work at a HS and we actually just implemented a new no cell phone policy in classes this year. Used to not allow them for years, then slowly with Google drive etc, chrome books and cells phones for schoolwork became prevalent, and now we are trying to tone it down again. Case by case basis to use them for schoolwork, but overall no cell phones unless it’s lunch! And the kids surprisingly have totally respected and enjoyed not having their phones out

I love testing new makeup video's! Did you notice glitter from the CT concealer? It's too radiant for me, but the formula is nice. The Haus Labs foundation is really beautiful, I'd recommend trying that and also the Rose inc blushes!

So yeah I wasn't allowed to use cellphones in school either. I graduated in 2008. My son in 9th grade now can have cell phones but if used during class will get taken and given back at end of day. He uses a laptop in every class. The school will even provide to those who do not have 1. Love this video Kelly! You look stunning

Our kiddos where I teach all get a chrome book from the district. We weren’t super strict on phones for a while but after Covid and the last couple years kids are seriously addicted. Now they have phone caddy’s in our classrooms. The students hate me for it lol

I work at a private, Christian school that is a homeschool co-op. Students come to class 2 days per week. I work in the middle school, and they are not allowed to have their cell phones during school at all, until they go to carpool at the end of the day. The high school students are only allowed to have their phones at lunch and at the very end of the day after the dismissal bell. 😊 Love you & your videos!! ♥️♥️

I loved all of the characters lol and when I was in school, we couldn’t have our phones. We got dentition if they caught us with them. But that was back from 2011-2014. My step brother is allowed to have his cellphone during lunch and in between classes

My grandkids have their phones. They can’t just pull them out in class but they can have them. Sadly, they started letting them have them when the school shootings were on the rise a couple of years ago. I’m 56 and never saw High School Musical but I do love Zach Effron!!!!

Where we are from in NY up until this year kids were using cellphones CONSTANTLY, there really was no more “taking it away” idk when that transition happened but it definitely went out the window. I graduated in 2009 so def similar to you. This year though they have said they can’t use their phones in class and have designated “cellphone zones” where they can use them in school. Every student in our district high school, middle school and elementary is assigned a laptop. I don’t even think they use a text book anymore 🤦🏼‍♀️

My daughter is in 10th grade and can have her cell phone but only if she finishes her work early. The school has a no cell policy but it seems like a lot of the teachers let them have it on them - but not out - for “down” time. I know I hear from her a few times throughout the day lol!
