I use a straightening brush sometimes and my hair is (70cm), healthy, and wavy with lots of random kinks in the individual hairs. I get a decent result much quicker than with a normal flat iron, probably because it separates it into smaller sections for you, so it definitely works on longer hair too : )

I have a different brand of the one that sucks up your hair, and I completely love it! I’m an idiot when it comes to most hair tools and techniques, and that curler was super easy to use on my first try and is the only curler I will use due to my intense fear of burning myself. I will say that the heat setting and the section size makes all the difference. I have really long hair and a lot of it, and it usually only takes me 15 to 20 minutes to curl my whole head with it.

Ive perfected my use of the Miracurl now 🤣 and I seriously love it. For someone that sucks at hair curling, its a lifesaver. Two things...I find you need to release the curl really slowly, it holds much better that way. Also I find small sections are key. In terms of the direction buttons, mine are labelled L, R, A - left, right, alternate. You use the L on the left side of your head, the R on the right side. Or A for a less uniform look. Oh also I start a good few inches from my head, but I have long hair.

I have a curly haired friend that loves the Amika straightening brush is able to bump under her ends. Once the hair is mostly straight, she puts the brush in from the underside of her hair, holding the ends of the hair section taute, and wrapps it 90° around the brush where she wants the bend to start. (Similar to curling ends with a flat iron.) She'd also say to take multiple passes, some of which in an upward direction to keep some if the volume. Good luck curly ladies!

Will you review the L’ange wands? I want to get the le cinq but I’m not sure if it’s worth the money. I feel like all the reviews i see are of people who are affiliated with the brand.
@genevieveve5 жыл бұрын
I was given the cinq wand after a friend decided she didn't have much use for it. I will say that I tried all of the attachments and really only use one or two of them. Also, in my opinion, definitely not worth the money. I think it is comparable to any of the 3-in-1 or 5-in-1 appliances I can find on Amazon or at Marshall's. If you are someone who really wants to do different styles of curls (that somehow all end up looking somewhat similar anyway...) this might be something you would get useful options from, but I don't understand how they can possibly justify the price. Hope that helps you. In my opinion, if you have hundreds of dollars kicking around, go for it. If you don't, you can get the exact same thing elsewhere for 60$.
