For the face masks, some people get their favourite face serum or non cloth mask and mix with a bit of water. Then soak the tablet in that solution and it becomes a face mask :)

I think somehow they decided back in the day that 1 kilogram of water(at room temperature) =1 liter, and super interestingly =1,000.00 cubic centimeters. Makes conversion so easy. Not that I’m for the metric system, but there certainly advantages.
