Not been on for a while but the second video will be here soon, just need to edit it then i will post it. There are many videos on here from sellers and people that would know more than me about them but I am impressed with what I have done with my little knowledge.

If they are powered by the same program junction box then is there a chipset in each of the rolls? If so you could probably re program the chips to match the newer rolls.

how or where i suppose would you have this type of set up to hook up with a sound system to be in sync with the programs? im new to all of this and would love to do a setup like I was trying to plan out, but i dont know what im doing. and also would something like this make an electric bill high because of the amp to power all of this?

you can correct it, if they are both the same strips then make sure your controller is set to accommodate the amount of lights. Also try run in parallel rather than joining on. it did happen to me so I added extra power to run in series. my vid shows how to do this and it should work.

You can run in series as long as you have enough Power to each led strip.We have a setup of 3 rolls with one controller and one Power supply of total 100Watt.At least our led strip and controllers are made that you can run either 20 rolls in series or 20 in parallell.

Hello i have a question Power injecting from the Power supply to the RGB strip by passing the controller like that. Does it hurt it in anyway? What i mean is i know you are supplying Power to the Controller and from the controller to the Firs strip. But you are injecting from the Power supply to the second strip, Third and forth even though there is power coming from the controller. You are adding more from the Power supply?

love the light and want one..but that controller box tho!! xD.. looks kind of stupid that you have wirering coming out of all sides lol

That controller you have, is capable of 1024 pixels in one continuous length, (power would need to be added in several locations along that long a strip), each 6803 chip is 1 pixel (or 3 LEDs), there are 48 pixels on a 5m roll. If you only have 2 rolls joined, you only have 96 pixels, far from the 1024 the controller is capable of.. The controller defaults to 50 pixels, the controller MUST be set to the correct number of pixels to properly control an entire length (max. 1024 pixels)..You are using 2 channels each length will do exactly the same thing. I've never done it, but as far as I know, each channel is capable of controlling a 1024 pixel long strip.My LEDs are in one continuous 60 foot length. Or 160 pixels, still far from the max..I ran into problems with bad colors at the farthest end, feeding power only at the controller, it's was because the conductors on the strip itself are unable to carry the load.. I got around this problem by inserting my 12 volts into the middle of my 60 feet, but the controller (clock & data) are still at one end, with power there only for the controller..Unfortunately the setting of pixels in several of these controllers is either badly or not documented at all (and of course they are not all the same procedure), on the one shown, you must power the controller, turn the controller OFF (with the red button), press + & - simultaneously, the display will turn on and the number shown is the total pixels the controller is set to, use the + or - to correct the number, hit the red button to save your pixel setting ...

+Harry B I have added power to each roll from a power supply, you will see what I have done shortly in part 2 of the video. Works well.

Hi, I've got the dream controller, and a set of dream led's, now I believe my led's are not what they say they are as they only have 3 wires to the strip, I see you have 4 going to yours, could you please send me a link for the correct led's please,

when i connected two strips together the second one just stays white and it still stays on when i shut off the power to the controller. only the second strip does this the the first in line works fine. they are two 5 meter strips connected.
@Amrita_K_Bajwa8 жыл бұрын
+detjuggalo I had the same problem. I turned off the strip, and then pressed the m+ button on the remote to turn the LEDS on for strip 2(basically to increase the length). The strip has to be turned off to work. Hope it works for you.

I have two 5m 6803 strips. When they are linked together, one strip shows green when the other is showing red. Is there any way to correct this other than buying another 5m strip?
@kuangchad40457 жыл бұрын
the power is down . you can try add extra DC5v power in the second strip or add power at the end of strip
