Testing with a 4" dredge

We made up the hill again, doing some more testing, one hole was 2.5m down and working about 4ft of gravel, and the other side was much deeper of gravel, to deep for the 4".....

Man, you need a big 8 inch rig for that bottom. Gotta day though. That 4 inch rig is throwing some serious rock.

A normal keene box won't be able to keep up that's why we modified the box.. If ya look at the other videos of the 6", you will see what we have done..

is that a 3 stage box you are using or the single stage box ?

it was a 3 stage box, now its a single box, 2 pans to clean in up.

hi.. its a modified box.. hog mats at the top, riffles in the centre and expanded mesh on the back

That’s too much gold to be losing from one pan of tailings.

The pans arnt off the tailings, the box is a modified keene box.. And yes an 8 would be the go in that area, but most of the claim isnt suitable for a 8".. That spot on the 4" was 1g an hour.. But we were just testing before we bring in the larger dredge..

1 full gm an hour is pretty darn good return And my apologies for assuming those pans were from tailings.

@@billchiles9089 its good for a 4" and the area we were in.. We were only taking the top 1ft off the top, to deep to even try to hit the bottom..
