When Virginia points and there isn't anything there, look closely at the ground. Sometimes you have to dig to get what she's poi ting at. Most of the time, it's just coins and watches, but it can be other items.

In my game I have three stick chairs around a simple fire and they sit there all the time, I'm just sad they leave when I go to join them They also go in and out of my cabin through the doors whenever, but still seem set on sleeping on the floor even though I built 3 beds They eat from the garden planters if i grow berries in there and my Legatha brings me blackberry seeds, Guarana seeds etc... Fish traps don't work in winter, but they catch 3 a day each at least in summer

I get fish traps don't work because of game logic, but I can literally see fish in my creek here every single day in cold ass Ohio. Just watched two eagles fight over a fish the other day, so I'm not buying it Endnight! 😂😂😂 Jk

Lol, I live in Canada so mood, unrealistic, but it is a shallow stream so it might be more about seasonal migration and risk of the water freezing completely? There should still be fish in the lake though and a way to fish for them, that would be cool.@@RealBradMiller

Hello Evan and Katelyn, the reason why weapons aim looks different between you two is that evan is using a lower field of view FOV in the display settings, katelyn have a higher one thats why it looks like a fish eye lens

Katelyn, your joyful giggling watching the dead red guy "dance" was the highlight of the 4 hour and 49 minute video. Katelyn, when you are trying to gain altitude in the glider you first need to tilt forward until the little green dot on your glider is _halfway_ between the center circle (which indicates level) and the bottom edge (which is max dive). Then after gaining speed you need to pull up until the green dot is right at the _top edge_ and hold it there, if the dot starts to disappear over the edge you are too steep and will start stalling out much quicker. And you should hold the upward angle for _much longer_ than the dive, it isn't a 1:1 up/down rhythm. You should hold it for at least 8-10 times longer than you angled down for. If you do not need additional height, you can hold it level, with the dot centered in the circle, and glide for an insane distance. I suggest trying the lazer on the shotgun, it is probably the best gun to use it on. Evan, you should always try to disassemble structures _from the top down,_ if it does not let you remove something it is because it is a _load bearing_ part for either what above or beside it. You could not remove the top beam because the two horizontal logs were supporting each other and removing one would leave the other unsupported. You fixed it by temporarily adding a vertical support before removing both, another method you could have used is brace one end with a corner brace and remove the opposite end first. The shelter for Kelvin and Legatha is not considered complete until _all walls_ are added, so the gaps left for the ramps should be filled in with doorways cut out. The drink "Greg" cannot use rotten parts, but it can use dried or cooked parts. The effigy trick is *_Souper_* useful. (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. Lol) None of the traps require additional components to reset them, with the exception of the spear launching trap (you can refill the spears with either homemade spears or those collected from cannibals, it can hold five at a time and does not need reset between shots). The "antenna" is a spinning trap, like a helicopter blade that pre-slices your "Greg" for you lol. It is really good, but kind of expensive and cannot be moved once built (you have to break it if you want to move it). Katelyn got damaged by it because it spawned, then it immediately reset. The Weapon Upgrade (one of the blueprints you got today) requires Solafite ore which is mined with the pickaxe (as you discovered). Melee weapons get a much better boost from the upgrade than ranged weapons do. Be prepared for a fight, the upgrading attracts all sorts of enemies while it is active and you have to fight them off until it is done. If you shoot the "Fingers" mutant in the legs it will stun him for a short period, headshots do no extra damage to him. The guy on fire when you left the pickax cave, he set himself on fire. It is a berserker type enemy, if you see him before he attacks, you will witness him pour alcohol all over himself from a bottle and then light himself on fire with a torch. I hope some of these tips help you, and for the ones you already figured out, I'll leave them in case someone needs to know.

Question, with Twitch now allowing KZbin simultaneously Live streams and vice versa, any plans to stream on KZbin while streaming on Twitch? Also, take a stick and place it vertical into the ground. Then put three rocks around the base. Lastly, take out ax and hit the top of stick into a point. Be careful it will hurt you. Now place many of these around the perimeter of your base. Thanks. Also I think the purpose of the lit cross in the blueprints is to ward off the demons? Before you got to the plot point about the 'event', I kind of thought that the cannibals were slowly turning into the mutants because of eating human flesh, and that's why some look slightly mutated. I didn't play the first one but from what I heard of it it seems like people get mutated by having a soul sacrificed to bring them back?? I figured Legatha either was forced to resort to cannibalism and then discovered what it did and went hard back to berries and small animals, or her mother was willingly sacrificed to bring her back to life and that's why she's only partially mutated and still relatively sane... But then you got to the party and the _event_ and now I ended up buying the game on sale so I can get to the bottom of it on my own timeline. Now I'm unclear on what makes Legatha different from the other mutants and what exactly the bug legged demons are about? Interestingly Kelvin isn't a demon but he does sleep on the floor under the side of my bed? And he lit himself on perpetual fire once when I wasn't looking and the river didn't put him out and I had to restart the game? Kelvin actually does a lot of impressive things on his own if you leave up blueprints and tell him to "maintain base" He'll build things and fill your resource storages from what he can find.

The reason you have issues with building is because you either don't have or you remove support beams. Don't remove beams before putting up the walls. keep the beams for walls. Only remove them in empty space like a room.

You can glide up to the top of the mountain pretty easily. You just need to dive for longer until you can really feel the speed gain, then shoot back up and hold it, then even out :)

in our playthrough we got golfcarts to our base at exactly that spot and just drove over all the enemies during these upgrades. The golfcarts are also great to climb mountains you can't jump up to create like... ziplines to transport wood up there for a mountain house

Please remember to tell Kelvin to take a break. He won't heal unless you do. You may see him just sitting down, but that doesn't count properly (unless they changed it for the full release). So glad to hear they did something about tape & cloth you can carry, though, it used to be that you could only hold 3 or 4 and then you dropped it. It is a little unrealistic, but then the stuff your carrying in that pack is already incredibly unrealistic, so it is clearly a magical backpack of holding.😂 I recently got House Flipper 2 and I am addicted. The assembly is kinda fun when you figure out what to do & that you're on a timer. Just wondering if you guys have tried out the sandbox mode for building your own place, yet?

Here's a tip: you both don't need to sleep at the same spot. One of you can be at the bed and another at the tarp. You just both need to be at a spot you're able to sleep. So technically you could be at the other end of the map and still sleep as long as you're both at a sleeping spot.

Watching Evan build in this series is painful. Also, the way this video game is made (and others too) the water is a zone. A block that you only see the bottom of.. they will not cross that bridge because an invisible block is there that keeps them out of the ocean. If you had built on a pond, they would cross. Not the ocean.

with the gliders when katelyn goes "down" she doesnt tip enough. looking at the green dot you can see that she only goes straight and not down so she doesnt gain momentum. also you should really build all the blueprints, they are all either fun or useful
