nice! since i am a beginner, why does he have to use clutch when downshifting at 1:05?

If you have a sequential gearbox you don't need to use clutch when downshifting or upshifting.

smoother downshifts. he isnt racing so he doesnt need to have the fastest possible downshifts plus it relieves a bit of the stress on the gearbox even tho you most of the time have a "blipper"

You can see jozef giving light throttle on downshifting to feather the engagement to minimise wear incredible driver and car
