I dropped out. After 20 years I decided to get my HSD online. I first got in a local community college. After kicking ass for 2 years. Three of the four colleges that dissed me accepted me.

Awesome story and thank you for sharing. I am a current student at UCLA and I am working on a research paper that talks about experiences like yours. Would appreciate it very much if I could ask you a couple of questions if you have time. Please reach out if you can.

I’m 17 and I’m about two years behind on school, The only subjects I do well are history geography and biology. And I was just getting very mediocre grades when I came to any other subjects, I also is easily distracted and lacked self-discipline, .and motivation and so I just thought there is absolutely no point in really train school at all or trying to do well because ultimately it’s not gonna amount to anything. And I was also dealing with depression and anxiety, and on top of that I got incredibly sick and badly injured and I couldn’t do school for almost 3 months. I wouldn’t graduate until 19 and my girlfriend graduates this year and I’m afraid that if I don’t finish school this year she’s going to go off and I’m never going to see her again. And I want nothing more than to just go back in time and fix things I’m so ashamed and so miserable and I just feel empty inside for allowing myself to do that, and for this long. My dream school is USC, but my girlfriend wants to go to Cal poly, or UCSB she hasn’t figured it out yet. I would describe myself as an above average student but I’ve been trying to make plans and I’ve been thinking about taking classes over the summer for extra credit as well.

I'm 30 years old. I'm a GED Graduate and have completed my Master's in Business Administration. I would like to study a second Bachelor's (Undergrad) most preferably in Engine or Science, anything related to Chemistry if possible. Is it possible to study another undergrad at this age? Are there any Chemical Engineering Universities that accept GED?

Is there a list somewhere of colleges that accept the GED. Because I got a kinda good score on the GED but I'm completely lost now. I don't know which colleges to apply to and whether they'll accept my application.
@TestPrepChampions5 жыл бұрын
Can you call some colleges you're interested in and ask them if they take the GED? That's what I recommend.

Scholarship mainly 30% depends on your academic result like if you get 165+ on GED then it is good. other 70% depends on your extra-curr. , Achivement , English proficiency . I'm talking about merit based scholarship.

It depends which other college you want to go to. I'd try to ask the colleges you're interested in and they should be able to tell you

What are the steps i should take to be able to take the ged exam at 16
@bellefowler61043 жыл бұрын
Talk to your parents about dropping out. You need parental consent. Then to counselors. Find a program. Get release forms. I dropped out at 16. My parents kinda already knew and accepted it so it went pretty smoothe. Some places make you have to have a certain score on the entry test to get into the program so young. You have to prove you want it. Which is kinda dumb but oh well.
