I hate when hiring manager using grammar as an evaluation, I worked with developers and qa whose not fluent English speakers but talented and very detailed ordained.

At the same time this is a short document. You can probably run it through gramarly or ask someone who knows English better, come on man
@danielhagara14422 жыл бұрын
This is a point more connected with native speakers. If it is not your first language and you make a mistake, then no big deal. But, if it is your first language and you make mistakes, then it is not so cool.

When they say "why do you want to work for our company?" I think that is super annoying. I want a decent job. I don't care about how great your company is if it is the only decent job I can get, and I am not allowed to say that, I have to lie. So managers are basically asking for you to invent some corny lie.

Why do you do what you do? The answer they want to hear: This is what I've always dreamed of doing and what I wanted to be and I'm living that life where I'm blessed to do what I love to do. The real answer: Most of us will never be what we wanted to be. Every day we wake up knowing it'll never get any better. And so we go to work and fight traffic putting in 40 to 60 hours a week being what we don't want to be to support our family who doesn't appreciate us every single day until we die and leave behind a life insurance policy we'll never get to enjoy.

@ssguru1229 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely, they need to do their decent job first before complaining or red flagging people career. Such a nonsense.

It’s sad how recruiters reject skilled people because they see job seekers have few different tech skills. Personally, I would like to learn new tech skills because I feel I will be very good using them. One more point, I think recruiters should not ask questions like what’s your current salary, place of born, or why you started this career. I don’t have anything against recruiters but I have worked with some of them who wants to get you a job. Make people’s life easier not harder. Thank you for all recruiters who are doing great job for our community.

Lot of stuff they said makes sense. So things are just ridiculous. Roman said that it doesn’t make sense for him when somebody applies at many many companies. Well I guess it’s easy to say that when you already have a job and you are all set, but some people don’t have a job and need to find one ASAP. So what does he propose? Choose 2-3 companies, apply there and just sit and wait hoping they will come across your resume and will call you? This way of finding job will take months if not years and will leave you bankrupt. Yes, you DO need to know what company you are applying for and what are their requirements, but don’t make some mismatches of your skills and the job description stop you. This is the recruiter’s job to go over your skill set and decide to give you a shot or no. I know people who find the job quickly by applying at many places. And I know folks who are brilliant and sitting with no job for weeks because are looking for this “perfect spot”
@vishalpatel69692 жыл бұрын
be prepared because you can have a telephonic interview coming soon after you apply multiple companies
@ssguru1229 Жыл бұрын
Exactly! And Sherren said at one point, when recruiter call and you pickup while driving is a red flag. This is super ridiculous to me, because applicants do not know exactly what time you are calling. Yes it's red flag if you have made appointment for a phone interview and that time you are doing something else.

@borysvasylovych54533 жыл бұрын
Damn, a lot of iq is makes sense, but some of these are complete crap, like why do you want to work exactly for this company. Do you think you are the only co in the country? Or when person looking for job he applies only to one offer on carrie website, and waiting for response? Recruiters definitely ask more tech questions and none personal etc
@emanueldolo3 жыл бұрын
If the company isn't big and popular there shouldn't be kind of question like: "Why do you want to work for us?" You are just one small company in sea of other small companies, your applicant saw your website for first time several days ago, why that question?

Hi Q.A. Dragnettters, see yeah WI's Work Instructions they're the slowest thing to get through you could have a Transport Manager who generalises saying "It's really about getting from A to B" or maybe a Maintainence Engineer who says "The Electricians and Fitters & Turners on my Maintainence Crew work according to normal Tradesman's procedures" see sure the Transport Workers the delivery people they often do multiple drops so it's point A to point B to point C to point D to point E to point F to point G and so on probably in some big loop around town, see those Maintainence Crew it's emergency response plus preventative cycle incorporating Licencing in both Transport and Maintenance, the key is including any Office Staff after Departmental introduction from the No1 Boss plus immediate Superior you get your diary then hand each and every worker an A4 ruled paper saying "You'll see me in 7 days precisely from now to collect that paper with every detail of work activity recorded no matter how basic" knowing in the Armed Forces if you can't list your job in 10 minutes there's not any job and the Armed Forces is emergency plus, you can make for the Quality Assurance Master Copy a written list of current work duties/practices.

Hi there MGMT CONS, see, there's a key to Quality Assurance in Audit regarding your secrecy around timing of Audit Trail, sure key is "follow the paper trail" however once your Audit Trail is figured out you'll get workers in their typical Human pack mentality sending emails atleast SMS texts about your approach there'll be quick clean-up and you'll never get the clear picture, you need regular and random time slots for "Walk Through MGMT" as you walk through the office or workshop you'll notice changes typically those who begin doing something once they see you weren't atleast talking about work, the old way to inspect a workplace was delivery people who were always graded "moron, smart, useful" you want to be regarded as smart because useful gets used and morons lose their job, these days an OHS Ticket like on a building site alleviates liability costs and is pretense for process audit, just remember in the main a workshop that has a rough appearance spends money on lots of cheap stuff and a workshop that's neat spends big money on things that last ultimately they're making the same products with the same inputs.
