The main problem with 70-80s music you can find on the Internet today is the poor sound quality, especially if it's not an official video audio. Basically, this is a recording of the original track from the 33 rpm that hasn't been digitized correctly. This record fortunately pleases us with its decent quality. Momo, you're probably the only one on KZbin who undertake to review non-mainstream music. Chapeau!

The main problem is nobody wants to invest in saving and restoring these old records. Some records even from 90's are difficult to find. We have lots of blablabla about saving our culture, but here we have an example that it is just talking.

I remember this song was uploaded on youtube by some English-speaking deep funk digger years ago, ripped from vinyl, with slightly better quality. It was definitely uploaded later then the abovementioned video from uaestrada channel, probably 5 years ago or so. So this video got popular very quickly and soon fetched over 10K views, over 100 comments in a short time. And the comments were very funny. Obviously the viewers were all non-Ukrainians and they tried to decipher the lyrics and what's going on in her song. The refrain that is being repeated is "Do lyubovi til'ky croc oodyn, croc odyn yedynyj" (There's only one step to love, only one step). One user suggested that croc (step) is short for crocodile, and "croc odyn" sound very similar to "crocodyl", crocodile in Ukrainan. So the people were like "cool, a funky song about crocodiles😅!" But apart from that the song was praised for the funky arrangements, vocals, groove and composition. I don't remember the channel name because since then the video was unfortunately deleted, maybe of copyright reasons or maybe the uploader having a bad day. Othe songs by Tetyana Kochergina definitely worth checking out are "Журавка" and "Грай, скрипко, грай". Both are huge, the first one is a slow groove masterpiece and the second one is a disco hit.

Dear Uncle Momo! I want to recommend you Ukrainian music by Miroslav Skorik ( Ukrainian classical composer, died some years ago) « Намалюй мені ніч»(Paint me night) and first Ukrainian twist «Не топчить конвалій» (dose not tramp the lily of the valley). He created music to great film “Тіні забутих предків» (shadows of forgotten ancestors ) and “Високий перевал»(High pass). The music from second film called simply “Melody” now is the spiritual hymn of Ukraine along with «Боже великий єдиний» (God is great one).

That's right, they are all Ukrainians by blood, to one degree or another. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 Take an interest, review the interviews of these individuals and you will understand everything yourself.) And of course, this list, unfortunately, is far from complete, because there are a lot of legendary Ukrainians! Maybe I even forgot to mention someone, it is not excluded.)) And I'm not talking about such historical characters as Conan the Barbarian!!!)) This is for history buffs. There are so many beautiful Ukraine around the world and GOOD people should know about it. ❤️
