TET Sweden (Part 1)

Four friends from Northumbria in the UK set off to ride the TET (Trans Euro Trail) through Sweden. We planned to complete the trip on small trail bikes, rather than bigger adventure bikes. And we planned to wild camp, using either our tents or the many shelters available throughout Sweden.
This is the first part of the story of our adventure.

Awesome guys! Fun to se UK'ers on our trails and see your take on it. Wildcamp and windshelters. Cool to see a CCM on the trails. Long time i saw one, had a couple of fellow riders out there who had them. This bike was once a dreambike to me and i contacted CCM dirtectly since there was a struggle with possible dealeships at the time. I ended up with a 690 instead due to the dealership mess up here. Cliffhanger with the startermotor!

Technically offroad riding is not legal in Sweden and that is why you probably cant find a lot of technical sections on the Swedish part of the TET, need to classed as a road to be allowed to ride it with motor vehicle :/

There are thousands of small dirt roads that are legal to drive on in Sweden!

@@kb5162 yes true still plenty of stuff to ride, it was just an explanation to why some single track technical tracks are probably hard to find in Sweden and ride legally. Plenty of small dirt roads that are still great though :D

28.00 - bliss ☺ I have two CCMs. Pride of ownership overpowers adversity every time (although I have retro-fitted a kick start to supplement the electric starter on the 404, just in case, y' know...). What a great video. With my pathetic off-road skill set I can nonetheless imagine being there. Wonderful.

Wanted also to go to Sweden. But as the weatherforecasts are showing. Many days with rain and cold weather ? How are you guys experiencing the weather ? Maybe in reallife it is completely different ? Nice vids guys. And beautifull sceneries. I can imagine why your buddy wants it to be a bit more technicall. You are with several people. So if one takes of and heads down a few hundreds of meters he has some friends to help him atleast. When you are alone you have to ride a little bit safer i guess. But i never manage to do that. Once i had such a crash in Sweden that it took me hours to get my bike bike on the track. And i was bruised and blue and red for several days. Could not even get out of my hammock at night to take a piss. So what i did was .....😁 Have fun.👍 Btw ? How are these shelters called ?

They are called "vindskydd" in Swedish
