I'm not here to be a wet blanket but I have yet to see any crispy route running which is more important at the next level than size and speed It doesn't mean that he won't be a great player the next level, but this highlight package is not really showing what it takes as far as beating people off the line and press coverage and really showing a complete route tree I think when the rubber meets the road don't be surprised if Luther burden is actually a better player at the NFL level
@epatongan11 күн бұрын
We really don’t know. Till he plays in the NFL. You wrote all that for nothing. Remember Charles Rodgers? Had crazy College highlight career. Beating separation with crisp route running. Then bam. Bust in the NFL. He’s above average at best.
@brandonchristopher965711 күн бұрын
@epatongan I think that kind of analysis that you just wrote is the dumbest type of football analysis Cuz by that logic everything's just well. We won't know until they get to the NFL you have to make a prediction. You have to put your balls on the table and say I think that this player is going to be good or he's not going to be good That's the whole point of pre-draft analysis pre nfl analysis. Obviously it also matters what quarterback he gets. It matters what team he goes to so much factors in But just saying what you're saying is complete nonsense. Cuz then quite literally hey everyone. Just it doesn't matter who you draft. It doesn't matter. Just we'll see what happens lol. That's just the dumbest response to any kind of pre-nfl draft analysis
@epatongan10 күн бұрын
@ He’s physical. Needs to get faster. What he lacks in speed he makes up for 50/50 catches. He has a similar body type to AJ Green with Puka Nacua running attitude. Winning One on one situations is his only hope to be home-run pick.
@epatongan10 күн бұрын
@ I respect your analysis.
@brandonchristopher965710 күн бұрын
@@epatongan Well I appreciate what you said. It just doesn't feel like someone's taking anyone's opinion seriously when they say we have to wait till they get to the NFL. So everything you wrote means nothing LOL I personally saw a far better route runner in Marvin Harrison Jr struggle. And to draft them both around the same area, he would have to be better prospect than a Malik Nabers or a Marvin Harrison Jr. In my opinion. So to me he feels more like it. He should go somewhere between 10 and 15 because unless you have elite route running it doesn't matter in this league. We haven't seen a Dez Bryant type of receiver in a long time And that's because these cornerbacks are really only getting beat with great route running now. They've made that adjustment back in the day. You had a lot of guys who just being big and physical Also, NFL teams run so much cover for and cover two. You have to run great routes to beat these coverages. And you also have to be able to play inside and out. Look at Larry Fitzgerald. He was an ex receiver but he could play anywhere on the field because of his great hands and round running. That's the modern NFL you got to be able to move these guys around and pick on the weaker cornerbacks

I'd rather take Ashton Jeanty, and then take a quarterback in round 2 or 3. Or don't take a quarterback at all take the best players available and pick up Justin Fields. With our second round pick and two third-round picks we could work on the offensive line and receivers. And if we get Ben Johnson as our head coach and he has Justin Fields and Ashton Jeanty with a good offensive line and good receivers and the best tight end in the league just imagine what he could do with that offense. When I watch Ashton Jeanty's highlights I'm almost speechless he's so damn good it's crazy.

I'm not a Tennessee Titan fan, but i've always had alot of admiration and respect for their fanbase and the historic culture that they have built over there. I can fully understand if there are some Titans fans that are starting to feel a little skeptical about giving Will Levis the keys moving forward as of right now, but if you want to see whether if he deserves another opportunity next season or not, Tetairoa McMillan is a young quarterback's dream come true and bringing him aboard will help Levis immensely and give Tennessee another big-bodied, athletically gifted receiver to pair with Calvin Ridley. I wouldn't give up on Levis just yet, especially when you have the privilege of drafting a generational talent at the receiver position in McMillan. 💯
