Carl, man this was an awesome hunt! Saddles are a game changer, literally. I love being able to pack up and hit another tree if my initial spot is a bust. It's so easy to see what the deer are doing and then move there, or just scout your way in and setup. Congrats on a great buck! You don't have to apologize for being excited. Thats what keeps us going! IT JUST FEELS GOOD!!!

I cut the liner out of it, taking it down to just a straight wool shirt. I generally just put it on as a silent outer layer over whatever insulation I am wearing.

It’s a great buck, thought he had more mass looking down on him. I get the excitement nobody knows what we actually do when we make a kill like that unless you film yourself.
