Both better than the latitude carbon sticks. They don't stick to the tree as well. And if they hit together they are super noisy. I bought the tree styx they are awesome but expensive. Great review!

Ive seen the tree styx and they look awesome! Let me know how they work out for you this season. Thanks for watching!

Great job I love my one sticks an just might consider the arsenals but not with the current design sure would be nice if they make a solid tube option ive learned the hard way anything moving is nothing but problems down the road
@whitetailaffinity Жыл бұрын
I definitely wouldn’t trade my One sticks for the Arsenals, but they are a real solid stick it seems. I agree that moving parts are usually a bad deal and I’m hoping these prove that wrong! Thanks for watching!

Great video! I had the tethrd ones last year and now have the icon x20s. The standoff and steps are way better imo. Good luck this year!

Thank you! I saw a lot of guys asking about which route to go so I figured this might help. They’re both great sticks and the trade offs for each really come down to a personal preference. Good luck to you as well!

Which sticks do you like more? I am seriously torn between these two. I like the weight of the Ones better but the step size of the Icons looks nicer for my size 13 boots.

The fact that the x20s pack way down is so badass

It’s definitely one of the main advantages it has on all the other sticks!

Is that why the price on Latitude is much better than carbon sticks from Timber Ninja? I’ve asked and no one responded. Has to be more plastic like you are the thinking, makes sense. Ordered the One Sticks a few days ago! Can’t wait for them to show up.
@whitetailaffinity Жыл бұрын
@tylerspoelma I’m guessing that’s exactly the reason why. It’s the only thing that makes sense, and I myself just don’t trust a mostly plastic anything when it comes to my life depending on it lol. My One sticks are going to be hard to beat overall, but either of these sticks is a great option. Thanks for tuning in!

@@whitetailaffinity Agreed. You didn’t have any issues with foot room on One Sticks? I’m size 11 foot. Going to use mainly for saddle hunting and not going to be in huge trees so I feel like I shouldn’t have issues.

@@TS1023TSI’m size 12.5 and have had no issues with room on my One Sticks. I’m on them for just a few minutes out of the hunt so I’m not worried about it. They are rock solid for me

@@TS1023TSI’m a size 11 as well and have zero issues. I did a full review of the One sticks when I got them last winter with my heavy pac boots on if you’d like to check it out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpq2noKnh7qWpsU

How does the 3-step aider work on the One Sticks with the stand-off being integrated into the step?
@whitetailaffinity2 ай бұрын
It works great! The single top standoff loop is a little tight getting on and off, but I used it on them all last season just fine. Backwoods Mobile Gear does make a double loop version just for the One Sticks; I just already had the single loop top standoff version already and it worked so I didn’t see the need to buy the other one. Thanks for watching!

WAY TOO NOISY!!! I switched to Lattitude Carbon sticks. So much quieter and 50% less money.
@greghathaway15062 ай бұрын
Would you go with a 2 step or 3 step with the X20?
@whitetailaffinity2 ай бұрын
I prefer a 3 step myself. I’m 6’0” and my reach puts my first step about 16” off the ground. If you’re much shorter, I’d probably go 2 step just because you might not be able to reach high enough to make that third step worth it; your first step might only end up being 8”-12” off the ground or less anyway. That being said, there is less sway action with a 2 step, which some guys might find more preferable. Let me know if that makes sense!

“CN” stand for Connecticut not China.

CN is the country code for China. Hunt Arsenal is from Michigan, with their products being made in China.

They’re creaking because of the light pole. The pole is smooth and very dry so the standoff can’t dig and bite into it like a live tree. On any tree with bark, neither stick creaks and is solid as a rock.
@nockreel1190 Жыл бұрын
Dont buy these sticks. There super loud climbing any tree. Hawk sticks are the most silent stick out there. They might be a tad heavier and need some stealth strips but super quiet.
