I was kind of rooting for her, too. I found it really hard to sympathize with the Witchers in this movie. They cared more about coin than protecting people, they put children through a needlessly cruel training regime, their leader was creating monsters, and they were just jerks in general. Vesemir, the main protagonist, showed no sympathy to the child at the beginning, or to the new recruits, and he found Tetra's story about a Witcher killing an innocent woman funny. The writers had to make Tetra an elitist and a jerk to Illyana, because otherwise she would have been too likable.

@@jordanhowe188 The funny thing is that the whole battle could have been avoided. It was necessary just to crack Deglan on the head and throw him to be torn to pieces by the peasant. Given that he deserved it.

idk, normally i'd agree but man they had so much chemistry i wish they'd let that develop just a tiny bit more. like not even to the point of all out romance but it would've been more poignant if they'd let them almost be on the same side only for shit to fall apart at the end.

Tetra is a textbook villain. There's nothing new or interesting with her character. I don't know how people think she's a well written character. She's just a character full of cliche villain archetype.
