No fish should ever be in a tank under 5 gallons That tank is way too small for a guppy or a beta
@ian2816 жыл бұрын
Sam Margolies I might get this tank but not for fish cause I agree but I think the minimum for betta is a 2.5 but to be happy they need at least a 5 which is what I do 😀 but maybe I might put 3-4 shrimp inside of this aquarium

Should be fine for Endler's livebearers, tiny hardy guppies. I agree that a betta would be miserable, too much flow. They also like to jump, good luck keeping your betta in this tank. I wouldn't do it.

I have a small female betta (2/3 cm) and reduced the waterflow with sponge the plastic thing that comes with it and a decoration with plants on it. I was going to see if she would be thriving if not I would buy her a bigger aquarium but the funny thing is she is more thriving then my other betta in a 5 gallon and when i bought her her fins where bit torn and she was scared at first but now she is thriving, her fins have regrown complete her color even got prettier and she flares whenever I come up to her so we will see ( I hope nobody will hate me for this I do plan to move her to a 5 gallon soon and put a few shrimp in this tank)

I really don’t like fish bowls. Even if they have fish that are perfectly fine in a smaller environment. That globe shape just really distorts the view of whatever is in it.

Thank you for true comment 😉
@apdroidgeek17374 жыл бұрын
This is actually a myth... but this is pretty small for any fish, if you dont believe me try finding anything about it on the internet and you wont find any, there is one research done and its about how bowl doesn't actually distort fish vision, also fish eye works the same as ours, if you try looking on the inside of the tank it doesn't distort your vision at all!.
@tetsushatarii21084 жыл бұрын
@@apdroidgeek1737 You completely misinterpreted my comment. I was referring to our vision of the thing inside being distorted. I wasn’t saying it would damage the fishes eyes lol

Good video. Been wanting to get a fish tank but nothing too big that requires constant attention, this looks like what I've had in mind.
@KaySkywalker7 жыл бұрын
if you want to get something that will be less work, a fully cycled tank is the best way to. I have a 5 gallon fully cycled with a betta and a mystery snail, and the only attention it needs is a 25 percent weekly water change. The smaller the tank, the more attention it actually needs despite what some people have been led to believe. The bigger the tank, the easier it is to maintain bioload
@jakp87777 жыл бұрын
Is the filter good enough that you don’t need to manually clean the tank with 1 fish?
@ChewysBro7 жыл бұрын
jak p you will still have to do water changes probably once ever 2-3 weeks as well as wipe the algae off the glass

Brian Sanchez well🤔 you go to the bathroom everyday, bathrooms usually have tile floors so if your aquarium brakes or leakes your won’t have any water damage. also water changes are really easy when you don have to carry lots of water around your house😁
