Thank you for sharing Amanda's inspiring story. Her attitude is an example for those more fortunate to try and learn from. I am completely paralysed from the neck down and on a ventilator 24hrs a day. Just started my channel less than one week ago and would love to have the same impact that Amanda does.

Thank you for letting us into your life. I use a wheelchair, but I can walk short distances with aid. You are inspiring. I am amazed by your positive attitude, I don't have a good attitude yet, I frequently go off the raids with my and attitude like a child throwing a fit, I am working on it. I'm in the hospital because I had a bed sore that ended up turning into a serious problem, the Dr. said I have some areas of Gangrene which will require surgery. The things we run across that we maybe didn't think about it's crazy. I wish you well and hope you will keep regaining movement. You are an amazing woman.

Well done, Amanda's "experience" parallels that of my wife's, making it slightly eerie to watch. I wish I could get many in her family and some of her friends to watch this as few know all she has been through to get where she is today, five years post her injury. Like Amanda my wife is a determined gal, they are both amazing in their strength and determination. Thank you, to those behind the creation of this video and to Amanda for sharing her experience.

She's right, her foundations made this possible. She is fit, supported and confident and resilient. It could and probably does break other people in the same situation. Unfortunately we all will face, have faced or are facing tragedy, so if we can do the work on our ourselves when we can then perhaps these things won't break us

+Janet Donald They are allowed in fact. It's just not called marriage - It's called a Union or a Partnership. From a legal viewpoint it's the same thing 98%.
@amarcy67 жыл бұрын
Jose Carreras last time I checked, 98 did not equal 100; therefore if you can't say 98 equals 100, then you don't have equality.
@floatingchimney7 жыл бұрын
+Allison Counsil By your logic neither can men and women be equal as they themselves are not 100% equal. Real world equality is not mathematical, honey.
@amarcy67 жыл бұрын
Jose Carreras I'm not your honey, so don't call me that, toots. I'm sorry you've never loved or been truly loved, otherwise you'd know "logic" and "love" have nothing to do with one another. Give my warmest regards to your ex-wife and her girlfriend! Muah!

Why do they have to teach their daughter that she's "broken?" I feel like that's a really unhealthy description from the view of both the child and the differently abled parent.

team14robot I agree. I don’t know why she keeps calling herself broken especially since she’s going to be “broken” forever. She’s says it about herself even when the the daughter isn’t around. Did you notice that the baby is always whining and crying? The baby is never happy. Not one smile yet. Just crying and fussing. Makes me wonder what’s really going on.

Pete Bloczynski she’s plenty old enough to understand now. The woman calls herself broken even when the daughter isn’t around. Weird.

Wish you would say what the time frames were...since u had your accident is how long? I was in hospital for 3 mos. but my spinal cord injury didn't paralyze me. They didn't know after surgery. They told my daughter about a 50/50 chance I'd walk. My daughter was 29 w/ 2 daughters. I did walk but w/ difficulty. That was 2001. Thank you for this.

Sometimes people fall for the person, not the gender. My daughter was with her girlfriend for 15yrs. My daughter didn’t label herself, but her girlfriend opted for bisexual. When they split up, my daughter met a guy. They live together, and are very happy. So, it can work both ways.

Just bc she took a moment to enjoy surfing, doesn't mean she didn't care or anything. You being such a * to try finding something to judge on such a beautiful story. She said she wanted her partner to be nurtered and that she would be working while her partner would get to be home and after what happened, she had all her plans changed. She showed that she cares everytime she was at that damn hospital trying to get better not only for her, but for her family. Seriously, what an unnecessary thing to say. Really sad that after all things we got to see thru this video, this is what you have to say.

dont understand you say you're paralysed from your necklace down but you moving your arms? sounds disgusting the way you just cast off your husband and say 'lets just not have them anymore' if you said he was a bad father and gave reasons then it might be different fkn disgusting shame the father didn't have the kid he is part of, god is punishing!!
