@KaptainSpitzkrug That's one way to look at it lol, but simply put Frantisek Fuka was a programmer and wrote a Tetris game which was absolutely fantastic, definately the best Tetris game on the ZX Spectrum - oh and he was an awesome composer also and this tune displays that. Communist Tetris is a missed opertunity mind you lol.

This was good but nothing will ever beat the music on the Gameboy version of Tetris itself

Whoops I missed this somehow. Feel bad putting down David Whittaker but this owns the first Tetris on the Speccy completely.

@uwillalldietomorrow Tetris on the Spectrum was disappointing, the down button was too sensitive (blocks would just all drop at once) and sometimes the background interacted with the blocks which made things confusing, this is much better, the only blip being that you can't hold on to the button to move the block, you have to tap the button all the time but it plays much better.

In case anybody doesn't recognise it, the first line of music - before the drums kick in - is from Moscow Nights, an extremely prolific soviet-era song. Compare with e.g. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHbFaoaMqKljn7c
