I remember when I was in elementary school, every year the 8th grade class would sing a song at graduation and it was almost always songs like this, sappy, maybe 'uplifting' or maybe that years most popular Pop song. Obviously never anything dark or explicit. For my 8th grade graduation, when it came around in June 1992, I totally forget what we ended up singing but I know it wasn't what the majority of the class wanted. What we >wanted< was Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Under The Bridge'. Of course it was refused outright even though it was majorly popular at the time. It didn't matter much anyway as a lot of the crowd (parents, siblings and teachers) had either left by that point or weren't paying attention. I dunno if they still do the whole thing now but I suspect not. It was falling out of favor (obviously) back then already...

This sounds like something you would here in the late 80s/90s anime. Like Sailor Moon or something during an episode’s peaceful resolution. The soundtrack for this Tetris game did not need to go as hard as it did. But at the same time it’s so damn beautiful. All of the tracks are great in their own way, but I think this one is my favorite.

I did hear someone on youtube did an amazing note-for-note recreation of the piece, poke around, you might find that, and maybe whoever did that would be able to create sheet music out of his midi program. My midi versions of the pieces for this project have long disappeared.
