Please provide your proof and/or documentation, because that's bunk. Type A is as attached to Tetris as the T piece, and would be weird to NOT include it, just leave it at that. If it WAS required to include the song, it would be featured more prominently and not hidden in the game.

That is something disposable? No, you talk shit, a Tetris game without the T piece or without any of the original pieces would not be a Tetris game, why? Because Tetris derivates from the tetrominoes, that is, every single possible geometrical shape you can make with 4 squares connected orthogonally, if Tetris lacks a tetrominoe then its not Tetris, period.

_Star Trek: The Next Generation_ for Game Boy had several of their puzzles levels be a carbon copy of the Mastermind game. License permitting, if they ever needed to do a Star Trek level where you rearrange isolinear chips, they could just make that level into a Tetris game. After all enough lines are cleared... "helm, warp 1, engage!"
