I really enjoyed this, I'd like to hear more of your opinions on each game rather than a recap of how each one works and what changed. Also a little correction, TGM3 doesn't have a "PC port", it's just that the game can run natively on a computer because the original hardware (Taito Type X board) is just a glorified Windows XP Embedded machine

Actually, TGM3 isn't ported to PC, it's a native windows game.

I've actually discovered someone making an unofficial port of TGM1 for the PS1, and somehow it's almost arcade accurate as you did say that TGM1 runs on some PS1-like hardware.

Oh and also, There does exists a 4th TGM game, supposedly called "Tetris the Grandmaster 4: The Master of Round", and the only footage available of it on KZbin has it playing the "Konoha" mode in which by the looks of it, your playing in Big Block mode by default. Doing all clears will result in sections of the female character serving as the background be revealed. TGM 3 has a JP 360 port.

It's actually an entirely different game called Tetris The Grand Master Ace, generally not considered part of the main series.

TGM3 does not have a PC port it is a PC game. A lot of arcade games started to be done and run on PC's in Japan, and a lot if not most modern games run on PC, and even windows. Some are Linux based like In The Groove and Pump it Up Pro, but main point is "acquired PC 'port' " is not bad, it is the same exact program ripped from the original hardware and cracked slightly to accept inputs from normal sources. Arcade games of this fashion REALLY do not like it if you are not using same base OS, PC hardware and more. TGM1 and 2 have official hamster ports (emulation) on Switch and PS4. Community recommends "shmupmame" for tgm 1 and 2 and for three... ... There are options and ways Heboris dabes Also ace on xbox 360 but nobody owns it and it is not tgm3 it is ace, what I know TGM3 world rule pushing title
