The most fascinating thing about this kind of variations, that you can like classify every variation to a composer. Like 0:00 - 0:35 Bach 0:35 - 0:50 something jazzy 0:50 - 1:15 Beethoven 1:15 - 2:05 Beethoven Sonata, 3rd movement coda, like srsly 2:05 - 2:15 Tschaikowsky 2:15 - 2:55 Chopin Nocturne 2:55 - 3:55 reminds me a bit of Liszt la campanella, how the right hand plays melody and rhythm at the same time. 3:55 - 4:10 some kind of march/mazurka chopin 4:10 - 4:55 reminds my about the Grieg a-moll piano concerto Solo. 4:55 - End Chopin Etude Of course this is all an unprofessional opinion. I play classical piano my whole life, but didnt study it or something. :). I read it over and its really hard for me to be sure :D EDIT 18th August, 2020, after hearing it again I wanna almost adjust every single assumption ive made. 0:00 - 0:35 Liszt Intro : These big chords remind me of the Mazeppa Intro, rest Middle Voice in the right hand (typical Liszt) 0:35 - 0:50 something jazzy stays 0:50 - 1:15 not Beethoven, it has way too much rubato and the trills are also more Chopin-like. 1:15 - 2:05 rather Rachmaninoff Prelude. That slow part going faster and faster, is more him than Beethoven Sonata. 2:05 - 2:15 Tschaikowksy stays 2:15 - 2:55 Chopin Nocturne stays 2:55 - 3:55 maybe rather Saint-Saens Aquariuam devloping into something Liszt-like with that middle voice again 3:44 - 4:10 March/Polka ? 4:10-4:55 This could still be Grieg. I dont even know why I try so hard to identify it so hard but it triggers me.
