Only melee units that can kill them are most elephant units, Leitis and Urumi (especially with Wootz Steel). Anything else is pretty easily steamrolled. (also Cataphract)

artillery, or antipierce armor ...like the composite bowman however this shitty composite bowman really needs a damage buff for special or high hp units

They still managed to kill a few elephants, which is something. I am suprised that the bombard cannons dealt with them. Once you get near the bombard cannons they become totally useless, but aside from that they are very destructive against buildings.

Unless you have ignore armour or a strong bonus against em, NEVER melee against em

@@angriboi they kinda have their use case, but it's very limited. They definetly need a bunch of siege that they protect from non cavalry melee attacks that dont ignore armour or do bonus dmg... Karambits, general trash and most champions?

I am no aoe2 expert but that formation seems totally busted when you are a ranged unit against melee

Scorpions will always win against infantry, unless it's something with extremely high pierce armor.
