This should have been a #1 Billboard Hot 100 & R&B chart hit for Tevin. It's sad the label stop promoting & believing in him doing this Era.The album only went Gold. Mind you he was 19 in the Back to the World Era. This song shld have been featured on the Good 🍔 movie. I still those twists he got on the album cover.

@AaZed I can hear it. When his 4th album came out in 1999 he voice was rough and his high notes were hanging on by a thread. He had a smoker breathy tone. He said he was smoking cigarettes 🚬 & 🍸 alot around this time.

@@LiveReality19 vocally Back to the World is a 7.5/10. I like his 2nd album more vocally much smoother voice granted he was going through puberty and vocal changes are expected around the 2nd & 3rd album. I do love his dark tone on his 4th album it was a nice change of pace & something fresh.

@@wadner8119 back to the world as an album had the tone and range. 4th album had a tone to DIE for that unfortunately, drugs did destroy as time went on. But however I’ve never heard him sing any song with the vocal dynamics equal to back to the world. I’m a singer myself, don’t confuse straight notes with vocal dynamic. Can we talk can not hold a candle to the vocal dynamic of back to the world(the song)

Ppl say ai shld be background singer since I can sing & do harmonies so beautiful especially when singers like Jagged Edge Whitney Mariah Tamia Tevin are playing its crazy my tenor voice can fit with sparanos & Altos without even trying. I dnt know how I make it so nice and beautiful
