I was a young teen when Tevin first started out. Listening to this and other songs with adult ears gives me a new appreciation for his talent, especially for his young age at the time. I couldn't grasp the depth and scope of his abilities to make each hit song absolutely resonate with such meaning the way I can now. His voice was almost perfect in the way he was able to capture any note, seemingly at will, to bring about actual emotions and mindfulness of the lyrics. A very rare talent that's hardly even thought about with today's so-called music artists.
