How many times am I going to have to say this? Severity is a risk reward stat, more severity means they’ll work on you more/Discover you, but you’ll get more DNA the more Severity you have. The best strategies rely on symptoms to spread very quickly and get lots of DNA, but don’t let it get too severe to the point where Greenland and other uninflected Islands shut down, which is a real run killer. If you have at least one dude in an area, Get necrosis (Far Right,Middle slight right in co-op), It’s leathal and severe, but has corpse transmissions, meaning that you can ramp up lethality as much as you want, as the corpses will spread the Virus. This is the only strategy Viable for Mega Brutal, because as soon as you hit 80% of your starting country infected, despite your severity and leathality, WILL detect you, and start working on you. Edit: as soon as every Island is infected In Mega Brutal, you MUST get symptoms immediately, as having all of them get infected significantly increases Evolution Cost.
