I was there on the Saturday, the battle was amazing, the amount of effort and care put in was immense. Wasn't very long at all after the battle before the heavens opened though. Still had a great time!

I can’t imagine how bad it would be going home with wet rusty armour and a wet canvas tent! It’d take so much effort to get it all clean and dry again! I was just happy it wasn’t very hot, there have been some real scorchers in previous years

Im gonna say something that may be unpopular. The Tewkesbury medieval reenactment weekend is a dying festival unfortunately and theyve got no one to blame but themselves. The reason Everything is stupidly expensive (beer tent included) Traders struggle as its nearly £100 per meter to set up. Barely any Europeans reenactors came this year which was disappointing
