It's because Tewtiy said "Stop upgrading when you get to round 100.", but he didn't make it clear to spend the rest of the money on upgrades. I'm pretty sure that if Dabloon had spent those 30.000 on stronger weapons he would've beaten Tewtiy easily.

@@111games. We know, but we aren't talking about that, we're talking about period of time after round 99 but before hitting start for 100. Dabloon didn't know what he was supposed to do so he was following Tewtiy's instructions exactly, which didn't include "this is your last chance to upgrade if you want". Maybe he wasn't aware that Dabloon had money left either, so you're right that it shouldn't be called "cheating", but it ABSOLUTELY was an unfair advantage that probably affected the outcome of the battle if it had been brought up.

​@GameJam230 Tewtiy made a classic blunder of givings instructions: he assumed that someone completely new to it had reached the same point as him before asking for help. He specifically told Dabloon "You're done with upgrades, no more upgrading," because he assumed that Dabloon had already done the final upgrades (that quote was just supposed to be advice not to spend the money that his monkey makes on round 100). It definitely wasn't intentional, but he unfortunately griefed Dabloon's potential power.
