In case no-one else has mentioned it, I believe this cartoon was called “The First Bad Man” and is cited as inspiration for Hanna-Barbera’s hit prime-time cartoon show, “The Flintstones”. One of the background artists for their cartoon, Ed Benedict, even worked on this one. The narrator was country music star Tex Ritter. 🎞👍🏼📺💛🪨🦖🦕

Funny thing is, even they didn’t know it at the time, there was a sauropod in Texas called the Alamosaurus (which means cottonwood lizard). So using a sauropod is accurate to the location
