First time to hear this one, too ! Just beyond the moon is the best ,need to open up comments and you will see how popular it still is ! My darling left 9 mos, ago for Heaven and I think there are real good songs for men who still forever love their wife ! We were together for 62 years ! I still cry when good memories pop into my mind and heart ! God tells us there will be no flesh sex , but its as if He said the love for your one in the flesh girl will be so much better the way I have " will it " ! In other words we will not miss the flesh for it's gone forever just as it should be ! We will find out what pure Godly Love feels like ...for eternity !! Go ahead someone ,put it to a song ,I want be around most likely to hear it .

PURE COUNTRY GOLD!!...Thank you soooo very much Garry for posting and sharing this "lost and rarely heard anymore" lil' country gem, that unfortunately, wasn't a hit for Tex, when it peaked at a much-too-low #67 for him bsck on the week of October 2, 1971 here in the States...I thoroughly enjoyed listening!..Take Care! Elizabeth :-)

+Muzikgirl67 Many thanks for your kind comments. If i can find out which company distributes Tex's music these days I will campaign to have this LP issued on CD. I cannot understand why this hasn't happened, as every track on the LP is a gem. There is one track on there called 'McArthur's Hand' which is the story of an elderly war veteran who gets brought before the court for vagrancy and tells the judge just how lucky he is to be free through this man's actions. It is very touching.

jimmy doglay thanks Jimmy. Sorry about the audio quality but the only way I could get this was to order a used copy of the LP from the USA. I hope to get some software to reduce the crackles and upload a better copy,
